AceShowbiz - Glen Powell took to his Twitter account to weigh in on a huge mishap involving Justin Hartley. The "Anybody But You" star shared a hilarious response after the "This Is Us" star was mistaken for him at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
On Sunday, January 7, Glen posted a screenshot from a media outlet that identified Justin as Glen in their post. "Glen Powell has arrived for tonight's 2024 #GoldenGlobes ceremony," The Hollywood Reporter wrote at the time.
In response to that, Glen jokingly tweeted, "I think this is the perfect time to announce that @justinhartley and I will be starring in the most boring body-swap movie of all time." The media outlet caught wind of the "Top Gun: Maverick" star's comment and replied, "well played @glenpowell - ... and apologies! We have our glasses on now!"
At the event, Justin arrived at the awards-giving event alongside his wife Sofia Pernas. The 46-year-old opted for a brown suit with a white shirt underneath. He completed his look with a black bow tie.
During a red carpet interview, Sofia couldn't help but gush over the "Tracker" star. "I feel lucky," Sofia told E! News' Keltie Knight on the red carpet outside the Beverly Hilton. "It's really nice. Shout-out to Taylor Swift and her 'Lover' song, that lyric, 'when I feel like everyone in the room wants you.' "
"It's sort of like that, I feel so lucky," she went on to say. "You just go, 'That's my partner,' and of course everybody feels that way about him-do not touch him-but he's beautiful, he's sexy, he's lovely, he has the biggest heart, and he's so, so, so kind."
Justin also raved about Sofia's look. "It's numbing, it's so beautiful," he said of Sofia who donned Pamella Roland gown for the occasion. "It's very her, you know. It's not overstated but it's very elegant, very sexy, very unique, very smart. So I think it's perfect."
