AceShowbiz - Metro Boomin has become trending on X, formerly Twitter, after his old tweets resurfaced amid his beef with Drake. In the said posts, which have since been deleted, the record producer suggested that he was into underage girls.
In a 2011 tweet, Metro wrote, "I'm tryna tell #oomfs [one of my followers] that 'age ain't nothin but a number' lol." Meanwhile, in March 2013, he penned, "She gon suck me whether she like it or not. That's what the molly for."
Many have since called out the now-30-year-old musician. "Metro Boomin deleting his weird tweets is crazy. So I guess Kendrick is working with a pedophile to diss another pedophile #MetroGroomin," one person wrote.
Another penned, "laughing at photoshopped pictures of drake and we brought out the real receipts don't run now #MetroGroomin." A different user tweeted, "This n***a started a rap civil war just to end up in the same exact boat as the n***a he tried to take down. That's TOUGH #MetroGroomin."
The rap beef between Metro and Drake started after the former and Future tapped Kendrick Lamar for "Like That". On the track, K-Dot disses Drizzy and J. Cole, who eventually pulled himself out of the drama by apologizing for clapping back at Kendrick.
As for Kendrick, he accused Drake of being a "certified pedophile" on his latest diss track, "Not Like Us". The 36-year-old rapper/songwriter rhymes, "Say, Drake, I hear you like 'em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one."
Drake, however, shut down the allegations on new song, "The Heart Part 6". "Speakin' of anything with a child, let's get to that now," the Toronto-born artist raps on the tune, which arrived on Sunday night, May 5. "This Epstein angle was the sh*t I expected/ TikTok videos you collected and dissected."
"I never been with no one underage, but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with," Drizzy continues. "Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I'm too respected/ If I was f**king young girls, I promise I'd have been arrested/ I'm way too famous for this s**t you just suggested."
