AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" is getting closer to crowning its season 32 winner. In the Tuesday, November 28 episode, the five remaining semi-finalists took the stage to dance two routines, a Ballroom and a Latin, in front of the judges.
The first pair to hit the dance floor was Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, who danced a Jive to "Runaway Baby". Derek Hough was confident that Ariana would secure a spot in the Finals with this dance, but he noted that it got "heavy" at some points.
Bruno Tonioli, meanwhile, dubbed the routine "sassy" and "sexy." Carrie Ann Inaba asked Ariana about her injury. When the "Vanderpump Rules" star said it was related to her ribs, Carrie Ann said she finally understood why Ariana didn't fully use her arms during the performance. The judges gave her 28 out of 30.
Later, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach followed it up with a Viennese Waltz to "I Won't Give Up". Bruno called it a "beautiful" performance, adding that Jason danced like a gentleman. As for Carrie Ann, she said it was refined but she hoped to see more emotional freedom. While it was beautiful, Derek thought it was lacking something. Jason got 27 out of 30.
Up next, Xochitl Gomez and Valentin Chmerkovkiy danced a Samba to "Samba". Carrie Ann was impressed by the "spectacular" routine which she dubbed one of the most difficult routines they've ever seen. Derek, meanwhile, shared that he loved it. As for Bruno, he called Xochitl the Samba diva. The judges gave her a perfect score, 30 out of 30.
Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev later took to the ballroom to dance a Rumba to "Love The Way You Lie Part III". Derek said that Charity looked effortless before praising her leg action. However, the judge noted that she still lacked emotion. Bruno disagreed as he thought that Charity expressed her emotion well. As for Carrie Ann, she dubbed Charity's performance "artistry in motion." Charity earned 29 out of 30.
Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber opted for a Jive to "Footloose". Bruno pointed out some mistakes during the performance, but he said that he loved the country western feel. Carrie Ann acknowledged that it was a difficult routine. Derek, meanwhile, said that the performance was enjoyable despite some errors. The judges gave Alyson 25 out of 30.
For the second dance, Jason and Daniella danced a Paso Doble to "Diablo Rojo". Carrie Ann was totally impressed as she asked if she could hug Jason. Derek, meanwhile, said that Jason looked fierce. Bruno agreed, saying that Jason looked like he was possessed by the devil. Jason got a perfect score.
Dancing a Waltz to "La Vie en Rose" were Xochitl and Val. Derek noted that it was something that late judge Len Goodman would love. Bruno dubbed it magnificent, adding, "There is dancing, then there is artistry." Carrie Ann admitted that the performance touched her heart. The judges then gave Xochitl a perfect score for the second time that night.
As for Charity and Artem, the pair decided to dance a Quickstep to "BO$$". Bruno complimented Charity after the performance, saying that she hit the swing time. Carrie Ann called the routine fun and loved that it had a lot of content. Derek, meanwhile, said that Charity made the difficult dance look easy. Charity got a perfect score.
Following it up, Alyson and Sasha hit the stage to dance a Waltz to "Come Away With Me". Carrie Ann said there were some footwork mistakes, but she's still proud of Alyson for showing off her emotional vulnerability. Derek said it was Alyson's best dance, and Bruno called it a "dream-like" performance. Alyson got 26 out of 30.
Later, Ariana and Pasha danced a Foxtrot to "Trampoline". Derek commented that the performance was smooth, silky, sensual and sensational. Bruno loved it, saying that it seemed like Ariana unleashed the fox in Foxtrot. Carrie Ann also complimented Ariana, saying that it was a beautiful way to round the night. The judges gave Ariana a perfect score.
It was time for the results. Celebrities who were sent to the Finals were Jason Mraz, Alyson Hannigan and Charity Lawson. Xochitl and Ariana were in jeopardy as their names hadn't been named as safe celebrities. However, much to everyone's relief, no one was eliminated in the episode.
