The Hollywood star was seemingly unbothered by his son's scathing comment, in which he was labeled an 'a**hole,' as he's pictured smiling ear-to-ear during a new sighting.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt was photographed during an outing after his son Pax Jolie-Pitt's explosive Father's Day post resurfaced online. The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor was seemingly unbothered by the scathing comment as he was pictured smiling ear-to-ear.

The snap saw Brad out and about in Los Angeles. The 59-year-old hunk was seen exiting his black Porsche as he looked stylish in a matching khaki jacket and pants. He completed the look with a beige bucket hat and a pair of white sneakers.

While the "Bullet Train" actor looked unfazed by Pax's social media post in the picture, a source claimed that the A-lister found the situation "depressing" and "frustrating." A source also noted that Pax's claims of Brad being a "world-class a**hole" could not be further from the truth.

"Brad has great respect for all of his children and it's depressing to see this dragged up. It's frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of 'bad person' when it's far from the truth," the source continued, adding that Brad "chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes."

Another insider echoed the sentiment, telling Page Six, "This is just unfortunate that people would keep trying to bring kids into things." The source added, "It's been a long seven years and it's unfortunate when people unnecessarily raise issues from so far in the past … and don't take into consideration the impact it has on the whole family."

In the said headline-making post, Pax slammed his famous dad, calling him "a**hole" and "despicable." The then-16-year-old teen, who made use of his private account on Instagram to slam the "World War Z" actor in 2020, wrote, "Happy Father's Day to this world class a**hole!!"

"You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person," Pax penned over a picture of Brad winning an Oscar award for best supporting actor for "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" four months earlier. "You have no consideration or empathy toward your 4 youngest children who tremble in fear in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so."

He further fumed, "You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. So, Happy Father's Day, you f**king awful human being!!!"
