Celebrity stylists Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks call the rapper 'a thief' with Charles further claiming that Mellow Rackz also scam other people including a jet company.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Mellow Rackz was accused of scamming celebrity stylists Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks out of designer items. The drama started after the two stylists, who worked for Cardi B's sister Hennessey Carolina, were sued for not returning or pay more than $35,000 worth of clothes which were originally for Hennessey.

According to a new Manhattan Supreme Court suit, Charles and Xavier were loaned 52 items from luxury fashion retailer Dover Street Market on April 14, saying the garments were "being taken on consignment for the purchase by their client Hennessey Carolina." The two were supposed to return the garments by April 21.

However, instead of returning or paying them, Charles and Xavier gave some of the duds to rapper Mellow Rackz for her to wear at the 2022 Coachella. The suit alleged that rapper "has now refused to return the merchandise."

It was revealed that the stylists only returned six of the items with four of the pieces being damaged. "Dover Street Market works with many industry leading stylists on this consignment basis and, regrettably, these stylists abused the privilege," a spokesperson for the company said in a statement.

While the lawsuit doesn't name Mellow Rackz and Hennessy as a defendant, Charles claimed in a statement to The Post, "Mellow Rackz is the person that stole the clothes." Echoing the sentiment, Xavier added, "Mellow Rackz is a thief and she is the reason that this is all happening."

"Mellowracks is truly scamming her way to the top and using whoever she can," the stylists' rep said in a statement. "Celebrity stylists, Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks are her latest victims."

The statement continued, "The celebrity style team has been sued by Dover Street Group for not returning clothes they pulled for Mellow Rackz. The rapper who pretended she was going to a room to sort through the clothes and decide what she wanted to wear to Coachella left Banks and Reynolds at the fitting never to return with the clothes."

In response to the accusation, Mellow Rackz's rep shared pictures of the fits that cost less than $4k. The rep also said in a statement, "Charles presented himself as PR, and for Coachella weekend, I would have party passes to all the parties. Including Coachella tickets, passes, and VIP access. Charles arrived with two big suitcases full of men's clothes and three outfits, consisting of 1 baby phat and two other brands."

Meanwhile, Charles further claimed that Mellow Rackz also scammed other people, including a private jet rental company and a car loaned to the rapper in good faith. The stylist also said that the rapper scammed the late XXXTENTACION's mother Cleo, who managed her.
