Met after collecting takeout food from a Calabasas mall, the 'Ride Along' star says he's 'blessed to be alive' before getting behind the wheel of a '69 Camaro, which appears to have no shoulder harness.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart may expose himself to the same risk of suffering serious injuries after getting involved in a horrifying car accident two months ago. The comedian/actor, who is still recovering from his major back injuries, has been spotted driving another vintage car with no harness.

On Saturday, November 2, the "Jumanji: The Next Level" star and a friend were seen carrying full takeout bags from Le Pain Quotidien at a Calabasas mall. He and his male companion were walking toward his '69 Camaro when TMZ's reporter asked him about his state of health after the car crash in September.

After putting the grocery bags into the car, Kevin got behind the wheel of the car, which appears to have no shoulder harness.

"I'm doing good, man," Kevin told the paparazzi about his condition. "I'm feeling great. I'm blessed to be alive, brother." He, however, added that it would take some time before he returns to perform comedy again. "It's a process, gonna take some time," he said. "Right now, [I'm] relaxing, enjoying the family and recovering. That's all that matters right now."

Kevin was riding in the passenger seat of his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when his friend Jared Black drove it off a canyon road near Calabasas, California on September 1. The car flipped, leaving Kevin and Jared hospitalized with severe injuries. Jared's fiancee Rebecca Broxterman, who sat in the backseat, suffered "minor" injuries.

Following an investigation, California Highway Patrol officials have declared the Barracuda crashed after Jared lost control. The investigation also revealed that Kevin's severe back injuries could have been avoided if he was wearing a seatbelt during the accident.

Kevin was released from the hospital ten days after the car crash and returned home after spending several days at an in-patient rehab facility to rehab the major back injuries. He recently shared a video showing his painful therapy.
