Kevin Hart Thanks Supportive People in New Video of Painful Therapy After Car Accident

In the Instagram video, the 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' actor can be heard admitting thatfollowing the accident, he sees things and 'life from a whole new perspective.'

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has made use of his Instagram account to give his fans update on his condition following a car crash back in September. On Tuesday, October 29, the "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" star shared with fans as he posted a video of him recovering from the incident, which forced him to undergo a back surgery.

The video opens with footage of the September 1 car accident with the actor saying in voiceover, "Basically, what you realize is that you're' not in control. No matter how much you think you're' in control, you're not in control and at the end of the day it can all be over."

As he is seen doing physical therapy that looks painful, Kevin goes on saying, "When God talks, you gotta listen. I swear life is funny. Because some of the craziest things that happen to you end up being the thing that you needed most. In this case, I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down. When you're moving to fast and you doing too much sometimes you can't see the things you're meant to see."

Kevin admits that following the accident, "I see things differently. I see life from a whole new perspective." Alluding that it makes him appreciate the people in his life even more, he continues, "My appreciation for life is through the roof. I'm thankful for my family, my friends... I'm thankful for the people that simply ride with me and have been with me 'cause you stood by me."

He also gives a shout-out to his fans, saying, "My fans, thankful for all your love and support. Don't take today for granted, 'cause tomorrow's not promised. More importantly, I'm thankful for God, thankful for life."

Concluding the video, Kevin can be heard saying that he is "looking forward to an amazing 2020."

Celebrity pals are quick to show some love to the actor. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wrote in the comment section, "Beautifully said. Love u brotha. Onward." Logan Paul, meanwhile, said, "champion mentality. glad you're recovering strong."

Also among the commenters was La La Anthony who wrote, "Prayed for u & the fam Kev. so glad you are doing great. We love u. U inspire us. U make the world a better place." Kevin's wife Eniko Hart also left a comment which read, "Your true fans were concerned, praying & missing you deeply. thank you ALL for your kind words and allowing us to heal during this time."

Hart was in the passenger seat of his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when the driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed in Calabasas, California on September 1. The star fractured his spine in three places and underwent major surgery.
