Denise Welch also claims that she 'wasn't aware' that the 'All Too Well' hitmaker launched the album, which allegedly features songs inspired by The 1975 lead vocalist.

AceShowbiz - Denise Welch wished Taylor Swift "the best" following the release of her eleventh studio album. The actress mother of Matty Healy talked about the "All Too Well" hitmaker's "The Tortured Poets Department" in a new interview.

When making an appearance on British talk show "Loose Women", the actress received some questions about Taylor's latest record. During an interview in the Thursday, April 25 episode of the TV program, host Nadia Sawalha coyly asked her, "Taylor Swift has a new album out, have you heard it?"

In response, Denise jokingly said, "I wasn't aware she had an album out at all." The British actress went on to claim, "I haven't heard anything about it." She further stated, "Anyway, I wish her all the best."

Similarly, her son Matty previously disclosed his minimal engagement with the double-album. On Wednesday, April 24, he was approached by a paparazzo, who asked him a question about the record and mentioned a "diss" against him. In response, he told the paparazzo, "I haven't really listened to that much of it but I'm sure it's good," while flashing his radiant smile. He additionally gushed, "But I'm sure it's great."

The lead vocalist of The 1975 and his mother got the questions since it has been believed that Taylor has several diss tracks against him, including "Fortnight", in the album. Previously, a clue, which could prove that the song is inspired by him, resurfaced online.

On Friday, April 19, the official TikTok account of GQ Magazine made use of the social media platform to upload a throwback video from their interview with Matty. In the resurfaced footage, the 35-year-old English singer/songwriter talked about his love of typewriters. He said, "It's not that there's any kind of, like, romance to having a notebook, but I really like typewriters as well. I don't have one with me because that is really impractical."

Taylor used typewriters as some properties in the music video for "Fortnight", which features Post Malone. In the dramatic footage, it could be seen that she and her collaborator were typing what appeared to be the song lyrics on manual typewriters. On the song itself, she talks about her short-lived romance with a guy, which can be Matty.
