Report: This Is How Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool Will Be Introduced in MCU

The Merc with the Mouth depicter in the Fox movies has reportedly signed a new deal with Disney/Marvel that allows him to appear in 'Black Widow' and 'Avengers 5'.

AceShowbiz - Following the Disney/Fox merger, there have been many speculations about which Fox properties whose world will eventually collide with other superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Giving an update on the studio's alleged plan, someone on Twitter claims to have learned that Deadpool will be one of the first X-Men characters who appear in the MCU.

According to Tim Vo from Lords of the Long Box, Ryan Reynolds has recently signed a new deal with Disney/Marvel. That deal reportedly includes his cameo appearance in the end credits scene for "Black Widow" before he also makes an appearance in upcoming "Avengers 5".

The said source posted on Twitter, "Back in June I teased this on Twitter. Todya my sources have said Deadpool will be in end credits scene for Black Widow and Deadpool will appear in upcoming Avengers. Ryan Reynolds reportedly signed new deal with Disney/Marvel recently."

Previously, the same source teased the appearance of two Fox characters in the standalone Black Widow movie. "So Black Widow movie is gonna feature two characters that used to belong to Fox. Both were at one time on the X-Men team in the comics," so it's claimed. "Looks like Black Widow is the first film to integrate 'Fox' characters into the MCU."

With Deadpool being reported to appear in "Black Widow", it remains to be seen which second Fox character that will also be featured in the Scarlett Johansson-starring movie. Cate Shortland is directing the pic, which is slated to arrive in the U.S. on May 1, 2020.

Meanwhile, "Avengers 5" has not been officially announced by Marvel. Should the new installment see the light of day, it is expected to introduce a new band of superheroes following the last appearances of Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow in "Avengers: Endgame".

As for the "Deadpool" franchise, a third movie is yet to be greenlit either by Disney.
