AceShowbiz - Despite never confirming their romance rumors, Eminem continues to fuel speculation that she's dating fellow rapper Nicki Minaj. The "Rap God" hitmaker refers to himself as the female emcee's "husband" on "Majesty" off her new album "Queen", which was released on Friday, August 10.
The song features the rumored lovebirds trading verses to each other. "Let me keep it one hundred, two things shouldn't be your themes off discussion/ The queen and her husband, last thing you're gonna wanna be is our subjects," Em raps, before Nicki comes in with her own verses, "How dare all of them mirror my style. The mandem wants digits for dial."
During the latest episode of her radio show "Queen Radio", Nicki said of her collaboration with Em on the song, "Eminem on 'Majesty' delivered what will be one of the greatest verses in rap history. We want rappers to push their pen." And obviously, she didn't address the dating rumors between them.
Nicki and Em first sparked dating rumors earlier this year when her collaboration with YG, 2 Chainz and Big Sean, "Big Bank", was released on May 24. "Told em' I met Slim Shady, bag the M/ Once he go Black, he'll be back again," she spit. When a fan asked her if she was dating the Detroit native, she simply replied, "Yes."
Meanwhile, Eminem addressed the rumors during his performance at Boston Calling in late May, but he didn't deny or confirm the rumors. He gave a shoutout to the "Anaconda" rapper before joking, "Baby, I'll be home tonight." He was referencing to Nicki's comment that read, "Babe I thought we were gonna keep it on the low til the wedding. Yikes. I'll talk to you when I get home."
After making the audience scream, he continued, "Boston, how many of you want me to date Nicki Minaj?" He then said, "Well, god dammit, me too. Nicki, if you get this message, just text me later, we'll talk about it."
