It remains to be seen whether the 'Chun Li' rapper is serious or joking, but Nicki's ex-boyfriend Nas doesn't seem to think it's serious.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj sends fans into a frenzy after she confirms rumors that she's dating Eminem. On Thursday, May 24, the "Chun-Li" raptress took to her Instagram account to promote her new song "Big Bank" featuring YG, 2 Chainz and Big Sean, and the track finds the self-proclaimed black Barbie seemingly making a reference to Em in her raps.
The clip saw Nicki rapping along to her lines on the track. "Told em' I met Slim Shady, bag the M/ Once he go Black, he'll be back again," she spit. As if the Em reference in the lyrics is not suspicious enough, the Barbadian beauty appeared to fuel dating rumors by captioning the video with, "#BIGBANK OUT NOW!!!!!! @yg @2chainz @bigsean Told'em I met Slim Shady. Bagged a EM!!!"
The caption had one fan asking, "You dating Eminem?" Replying to her fan's comment, Nicki simply wrote, "yes." Eminem added more fuel to the rumors by joining in. The Detroit rapper said, "girl you know it's true," to which Nicki interestingly responded, "babe I thought we were gonna keep it on the low til the wedding. Yikes. I'll talk to you when I get home."

Another fan, meanwhile, questioned whether Em wrote her rap in the track. YG quickly shut down the speculation, writing back to the fan, "WATCH YA MOUF." Nicki also addressed the rumors in the comment section. In a lenghty comment, she said, "I WILL ALWAYS write my own!!!"

It remains unknown if Nicki was serious or just joking around with the fans since she's famous for being friendly with fans online. Nicki's ex-boyfriend Nas, however, doesn't seem to think it's serious. "Nas doesn't think there is any truth to her comment," shares the source to HollywoodLife.com. "He knows that with an album on the way, Nicki is likely playing with her fans. Nicki is a master at marketing so Nas takes her comment as a way to create buzz around her new music."
"Nas burst out laughing when he heard that Nicki said she was dating Eminem," adds the source. "Nas knows both Marshall and Nicki and he thinks they would be a horrible match."
The source continues saying that the "Life's A Bitch" feels like "Em can’t handle a woman like Nicki." The source also adds, "Their strong personalities just don't mix. If [the rumor] turns out to be true, and Nicki is not just playing around, Nas would be completely shocked."
