The 'Super Freaky Girl' hitmaker is accused of copying her rival Cardi after she was seen furiously throwing an object into the crowd during a recent show, which nearly hit her head.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has sparked Cardi B comparisons with her reaction to a fan throwing an object onstage. The "Super Freaky Girl" hitmaker was described as "Cardi wannabe" by an online user after hurling the item back to the crowd.

The incident took place during Nicki's recent show. A clip surfacing online showed someone throwing an object at the femcee while she was performing "Starships", which nearly hit her in the head.

Although the object missed her, Nicki was annoyed by it. Looking furious, the "Anaconda" raptress picked the item up off the ground, promptly hurling it back into the crowd.

Fans have since reacted to the footage shared by the JasmineBrand on Instagram. One in particular wrote, "She paid them to do that. How you pick something up off the ground and throw it back in the crowd. Cardi wannabe."

Another penned, "This is giving cardi b." Someone else added, "She wants to be Cardi B so bad." A different individual, meanwhile, argued, "She always copying somebody."

Back in July 2023, Cardi, who has been beefing with Nicki, tossed the mic into the crowd after someone threw a drink at her during her gig. Looking startled, the Grammy Award winner spontaneously launched the microphone at the woman.

Security then intervened while the rap star yelled from the stage. After getting her microphone back, the "WAP" raptress told the audience, "I said splash my p***y not my face b***h."

A woman, who claimed that she got hit by the mic but did not throw the drink, later reported Cardi for battery. The 26-year-old woman said she stood next to the person who threw the drink and got hit by the microphone on the right shoulder. She claimed she was "experiencing pain because of the incident" and was going to go get medical attention after she returned home.

Cardi, however, managed to escape criminal charges following a battery investigation as police have closed the case due to "insufficient evidence." The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement on August 3, "After a thorough review of this case and with the consultation from the Clark County District Attorney's Office, this case has been closed as having insufficient evidence. No charges will be filed in relation to this case."
