Swift takes part in an auction benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS after attending Jackman's Broadway show.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift spent $6,000 for charity and got Hugh Jackman's T-shirt in return. The country-turned-pop star bid $6k to win the shirt during an auction benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS after the actor's performance on Broadway show "The River" on Wednesday afternoon, December 24.

The T-shirt, which the Aussie hunk wore during his performance, was one of the items auctioned off for charity. He raised an additional $6,000 from another audience member and threw in $6,000 himself. Another audience even offered $2,000 for his belt.

Swift and Jackman later posed together backstage at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City. "Lovely to see @taylorswift13 and her family. Merry Christmas Eve to all xoxx," the "Pan" star captioned the photo he posted on his Instagram. He also sent a Christmas greeting to fans, writing along with a picture of him standing next to a Christmas tree, "Sending wishes for an awesome holiday! @TheRiverPlay."

Swift donned a baby blue jacket for the said outing. She was joined by her younger brother Austin and her parents Andrea and Scott when watching the Broadway play.

The "Shake It Off" hitmaker recently revealed what she got from her father for her Christmas present. "My dad just gave me ten lint rollers for Christmas, not for lint but 'because you always have glitter all over you,' " she wrote on Twitter. "Great start, Swifts."
