The frontman complains about his band's performance at the parade, saying he and his mates were 'screwed over and misled' by the event's bosses.

AceShowbiz - KISS' Paul Stanley isn't happy with his band's performance at the 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade earlier this week. The frontman recently took to Twitter to express his disappointment, insisting he and his mates were "screwed over" by the event's bosses.

"Bluntly, We were screwed over & misled by the exec in charge of #MacysThanksgivingDayParade. We ALL deserved better," he wrote without explaining which part of the performance upset him.

As pointed by Ultimate Classic Rock, KISS' performance during the Thursday, November 27 parade wasn't flawless. The legendary rockers clearly lip-synced their "Rock and Roll All Nite" as they cruised the streets of New York City alongside giant balloons. On viewers' TV screens, there were no close-up shots of KISS until the first chorus and the cameras were focused on Gene Simmons during Tommy Thayer's guitar solo.

Unlike his bandmate, Simmons doesn't appear to have any problem with their appearance at the parade. He told New York Post's Page Six that he had fun and was proud to be a part of the annual event.
