this unscary horror film is as thin and vaporous as its internet-based stalker; The movie fails to understand that it's the characters' fixation on Slender Man -- and not the phantom himself -- that should be driving the terror
it's a natural inspiration for a horror movie. Too bad the film itself isn't much; the movie is a big disappointment, because ultimately "Slender Man" does not get the full-on creep-out treatment such an intriguing character deserves
"Slender Man" does for YouTube what "The Ring" did for VHS, but really, really, really badly; "Slender Man" is terrible..it isn't just bad, it's also disappointing
