this movie is a gift, and a fond farewell; Watching this emotional reunion film, a viewer might could come to a certain special feeling; I love Milch's writing, his loquacious waterfall; the language is so joyful, and the performances so committed

the movie isn't exactly like the series. But it's a ravishing, bewitching ending to a story that never got one / Though there are some twists and turns, the payoff, the conclusion, is in how these people continue to live, struggle, love, and die together
the closing line of David Milch's "Deadwood" movie is one of the greatest ever written; These characters, this film, and David Milch himself are here to honor the time they had by adding a brilliant final chapter in the here and now
not f***ing perfect, but still sure to satisfy most c***suckers; I don't think Deadwood: The Movie is a great movie in its own right or even a great episode of Deadwood, but it's satisfying, and given what was required, that's enough
each of these actors step back into their roles as effortlessly as if they'd never left them. There's homage in these excellent performances, but especially love
David Milch's grimy, glorious western finally gets the ending it deserves; a satisfying ending; Thirteen years on, it remains as fresh and compelling as it ever was and it now has an ending worthy of its revered name
an incredibly moving film that rewards both the characters and fans of the show and offers a worthy and fitting goodbye to "Deadwood"; it's beautiful... a poignant and moving tale about how the past and the future are always pulling on us
"Deadwood: The Movie" is the long-awaited satisfying conclusion to "Deadwood"; A two-hour movie is no match for a 13-hour season, but damn it’s nice to get dirty with these people again
