'Smallville' 9.10 Preview: Justice Society Arrives
November 21, 2009 10:11:26"Smallville" will take a two-month break starting this week and when it returns on January 22, it will bring along the Justice Society of America (JSA). The episode called "Disciple" sees Clark getting the help he needs much to save the world from the grasp of General Zod.
JSA is comprised of several superheroes such as Hawkman, Stargirl, Doctor Fate, Atom and Spectre but only three out of them have had their actors announced. Brent Stait is playing Dr. Fate, while Britt Irvin is in the shoes of Stargirl. Meanwhile, the actor to play Hawkman, whose first look has been shared, will be Michael Shanks.

First Look of Hawkman on 'Smallville'
November 17, 2009 10:11:31Not only it is now confirmed that playing Hawkman on "Smallville" will be Michael Shanks, the first look of the actor as the DC Comics superhero has also been shared. Additionally, TV Guide Magazine acquired an interview with Shanks who will appear as the flying hero on a two-hour movie event airing on February 5.
On the physical appearance, Shanks revealed that the "Smallville" version won't exactly follow the comic. "No nudity," he affirmed. "The way the harness is designed they needed to create a bronze chest plate. The helmet is also more of a bronze-tone than a big yellow gold thing. My whole upper torso becomes a big immobile object."

'Smallville' 9.09 Preview: Pandora
November 14, 2009 11:11:09Next on "Smallville", Tess kidnaps Lois to find out where Lois went after she disappeared for weeks. Lois' memory of the future depicts a Metropolis under Zod's rule and Clark powerless under the red sun, while Chloe forms a resistance group with Oliver. After learning of these future events, Clark makes an important decision about Zod.
Called "Pandora", the episode will air on Friday, November 20 as the last episode of the Fall run. Executive Producer Brian Peterson gave an insight to the episode, saying "...we get our glimpse of what the future would be if Zod gets his way on earth. So you will see him interacting with more and more characters as the season unfolds, for sure."

Superhero twins Zan and Jayna show up in Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime but end up botching several rescues, landing Clark in hot water with the District Attorney's office. Clark decides to come forward as The Blur to clear his name.
The Wonder Twins are the DC Comics superheroes who get their power if they touch hands and say "Wonder Twins Power Activate!". In the comic version, Zan can transform into water while Zayna can shape shift into any kind of animal. The show cast non-sibling actors David Gallagher to play Zan and Allison Scagliotti to play Zayna.

'Smallville' 9.06 Preview: The Legendary Kiss
October 24, 2009 09:10:02A new DC Comics character is coming to "Smallville" next week but the show chooses to promote another part of the episode which is deemed "legendary". The CW packed a preview for the October 30 episode called "Crossfire" with the Clark and Lois saga that finally extends to a kiss.
According to the synopsis, Lois asks Clark to help her land a job as an on-air television host, but the two are shocked when the station wants to hire them as a team. Executive Producer Brian Peterson made time to address the Clois dynamics with Daemon's TV explaining that Lois is still very much in love with the Red-Blue Blur although she is starting to see Clark in a different way.

'Smallville' Found Actors for Hawkman, Stargirl and Doctor Fate
October 20, 2009 02:10:30As previously reported, some members of Justice Society of America (JSA) will come out of retirement to give the "screwed-up guys of next generation a needed smack-down" on "Smallville". General Zod and Metallo have shown their faces while Roulette and Speedy are going to make their debut in the remaining episodes of this month. JSA line-up, meanwhile, has just been revealed.
Instead of the full line-up, producers said the society will only feature four of them, Hawkman, Spectre, Atom and Doctor Fate. However, it is recently revealed by Fancast that Stargirl will also make a cameo and that she will be played by Britt Irvin. The actress previously had a role on "George of the Jungle" and will be in the pilot of the upcoming "V".

'Smallville' 9.05 Preview: Roulette

Roulette, the "supervillainess" of the DC universe, will be making appearance on episode named after her on Friday, October 23. The CW show is taking a U-turn from the comic version by presenting the character as Asian.
Oliver is drugged and kidnapped by a woman named Victoria aka Roulette who tells Oliver that he's involved in a dangerous game and must fight for his life. After Victoria shows up dead and Oliver is arrested by the police, he turns to Chloe for help. Meanwhile, Lois berates Clark for not telling her about Oliver's suicide attempt.

Pic: Clark and Lois Finally Kiss on 'Smallville'

Several promo pictures from the October 30 episode have just been released and one of them particularly strikes. Lois is taken in the arm of Clark and they lock lips while still in the Daily Planet office.
This kissing scene may either be the real deal or a dream sequence. 'Smallville' 9.04 Preview: Toyman Back, Clois Get Intimate
October 10, 2009 11:10:00The Toyman is back toying with Oliver in the next week's episode of "Smallville". Tess forces Oliver to come to a Queen Industries gala to put the Board at ease, but things go awry when the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) shows up with a bomb and a plan to take revenge on Oliver. The Toyman tells Oliver he must confess to murdering Lex or he will blow the place up.
Meanwhile, as part of his training, Jor-El gives Clark the ability to hear other people's thoughts. The episode is called "Echo" and it will air on Friday, October 16. What the synopsis doesn't share but the preview does is the moment where Lois and Clark get intimate. If one freezes the sixth second of the video below, there seen the couple with no clothes on.

'Smallville' First Look: Tom Welling in Superman Suit

A photo is released via LilMissX to reveal the first look of Clark in his Superman outfit. Instead of the red and blue tights, the outfit is pitch black with a silver "S" symbol on the chest.
In the promo released for the ninth season, Chloe told Clark to embrace his Kyrptonian side and accept the fact that he is destined to save the world. The ninth season will be opened with an episode where Clark tells Jor-El that he is ready to start his training. More Superheroes Coming to 'Smallville'
September 01, 2009 02:09:20The upcoming season of "Smallville" will be one superhero fiesta, as several more DC Comics characters are confirmed coming to help Clark Kent. Executive Producer Brian Peterson revealed that Green Arrow's sidekick will be making a cameo along with Justice Society of America (JSA) and the previously-rumored Wonder Twins.
Instead of Roy Harper, Jr.'s version, "Smallville" will pick up the female Speedy. "It's the newest version of Speedy," Peterson explained. "Her name is Mia Dearden." Like the comic, the show will present her along with the dark past, including being HIV positive. "She has a sordid past and crosses paths with Oliver [Green Arrow] in some shady places," Executive Producer Kelly Souders added. "But he gives her hope."

August 18, 2009 01:08:54Brian Austin Green in his new starring vehicle after "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" is teased through a first look photo of him as Metallo. Unlike in its comic book version, the face of Brian's Metallo on "Smallville" is not half covered in metal because according to executive producer Kelly Souders, this is the "rough version" of the character before he eventually will "get sleeker".
Metallo is one of Clark's villains this season apart from General Zod. The cyborg will appear in a two-episode arc beginning the season premiere on September 25. Although short-lived, the appearance may be stretched to longer commitment. "We're actually throwing some ideas around right now in the hopes that we might be able to bring him back for another episode," Souders explained to TV Guide Magazine.

Actor Finally Found for General Zod on 'Smallville'

A British actor by the name of Callum Blue has been cast to play the villain and will be appearing regularly in the ninth season which goes on air this Fall. He previously appeared in "The Tudors" and "Secret Diary of a Call Girl".
General Zod is one of the original characters from the DC Comics and one of the most prominent ones. There are several versions of Zod in the comic book version but he is known as a Kryptonian who knew Clark Kent's father in the past.

Brian Austin Green Joins 'Smallville' as Metallo
June 18, 2009 10:06:18Brian Austin Green may fail in reaching a deal to appear on "One Tree Hill" or to have his new pilot "The Body Politic" being picked up for Fall, but he is still a commodity to The CW. The actor has been cast to appear on the network's other series "Smallville", playing none other than DC Comics villain, Metallo.
TV Guide which was first to come up with the story has confirmed that Green is the half-cyborg whose source of power is Superman's weak point, kryptonite. The character will appear in at least the first two episodes of Season 9 which is kicked off September 25.

The heroic side of Lois came out when she was having a hang out time with her cousin Chloe and two thugs approached them. Wearing stiletto heels, Lois kicked them and got into the idea when she managed to bring down one of them. The other thug however, got away with Chloe's car that contains some important information inside.

March 28, 2009 09:03:20A clip of "Smallville" episode "Eternal" has been given a sneak peek through a clip. Davis wanders out in a deserted place with spade in his hand. Tess then shows up in front of his car saying "I forgot. What's the prayer for dismembering a body?" before she blows up the truck.
This April 2 episode will reveal a lot of the history of David Bloom who will later become Doomsday. While Davis seeks help from Chloe, Tess pleads for Clark's assistance in killing Davis. This will then lead to the final confrontation between Doomsday and Clark.

A considerably longer in length, the preview shows more on the new heroes that will take the series to the next level. "Legion" is the reference to the name of the superheroes from the 31st century.
Three superheroes from the future travel to the past and join Clark in hopes that together they can defeat Brainiac, who has taken over Chloe's body. More about Clark finding his fate to be a hero, and him meeting Lana once again are exposed in this episode which will hit the screen on January 15.

November 21, 2008 04:11:56A glance of "Smallville" episode 8.11 has been revealed through a new preview below. It shows the new episode which is scheduled to air early next year featuring new heroes, new enemies, and new legends.
With the title "Legion", the episode will feature three superheroes who are coming from the future life. The story goes further with the three superheroes traveling to the past in order to find and join Clark Kent, played by Tom Welling, in defeating Brainiac. Brainiac is the one villain who has taken Chloe Sullivan's body.

November 19, 2008 12:11:38Three new clips from "Smallville" have been released by The CW network as sneak peeks to episode 8.10. They reveal some situations happening before and during Jimmy and Chloe's wedding ceremony on the November 20 episode entitled "Bride".
As shown in the first clip, Lois helps to prepare Jimmy and Chloe's wedding ceremony, leading to her conversation with Jimmy about a 'right person'. The clip shows how Jimmy tells Lois that Chloe is the right person for him and that Clark possibly is also the right person for Lois.

Chloe finally becomes Jimmy's bride. Though feeling extremely excited about her wedding to Jimmy, she worries if Davis has an intention to stop the wedding. Meanwhile, Oliver tells Clark that he thinks he has discovered where Lex is hiding and takes off to Cuba to confront Lex. Still, instead of finding Lex there, he meets Lana.

October 25, 2008 01:10:47A new sneak peek into the new episode of has been provided by The CW. The clip, showing the part when Clark talks about his secret to Chloe, is taken from the episode called "Identity" which will air on October 30.
Jimmy snaps a picture of Clark super-speeding to save Lois from a mugger and manages to catch a red and blue blur on film. Jimmy shows it to Tess who decides to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet. Clark fears his identity will be discovered so he asks Chloe to run interference with Jimmy, but she refuses.

Preview of 'Smallville' 8.03: Toxic
September 26, 2008 11:09:25"Toxic", the October 2 episode of "Smallville" has been given a trailer, mainly chronicling on Oliver's past. While having only 24 hours left to live, Oliver slips into a delirious moment when he first landed on a deserted land and learned the use of bow and arrow. He also recalled his first meeting with Tess Mercer. Eventually, Oliver's life is saved by Chloe.
Speaking on the particular episode, Erica Durance who portrays Lois Lane, said that her character will somehow be affected by Oliver's near-to-death encounter. Durance elaborated, "What it did, I thought, was it created another moment for Clark and Lois to have some real intimacy because he sees her in this vulnerable position and they have a talk about dealing with relationships. Lois still isn't in love with Oliver, but what it did was it created another moment to build on that relationship with Clark."

Clips From 'Smallville' Episode 8.01: Odyssey

After the collapse of the Fortress of Solitude, Justice League travel to the Arctic to come looking for Clark who is now powerless due to the incident. Meanwhile, Chloe becomes the target of a group that discovers her special ability.
The eight season will start airing on the network on Thursday, September 18 with an episode called "Odyssey". It would be the first time that the show misses its two original cast, Kristin Kreuk aka Lana Lang and Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luthor.
