The singer/rapper, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, gushes over the Grammy-winning pop star for tapping him in the music video of 'Fortnight', which appears on her latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department'.

AceShowbiz - Post Malone couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity of working with Taylor Swift. The "Rockstar" hitmaker, who appeared alongside the Grammy-winning pop star in the "Fortnight" music video, said he's "beyond honored" to have been asked to help the songstress.

Making use of Instagram on Saturday, April 20, Posty shared a black picture of him and Taylor. She captioned it, "It's once in a lifetime that someone like @taylorswift13 comes into this world."

"I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey," the emcee further raved. "I love you so much. Thank you Tay."

The feeling was mutual. Taylor previously praised Posty in her own post. "When I was writing the Fortnight music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music. Pretty much everything in it is a metaphor or a reference to one corner of the album or another."

"For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it," she added. "@postmalone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I'm so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration."

Taylor also gushed over Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles. "I'm still laughing from getting to work with the coolest guys on earth, @ethanhawke and @mrjoshcharles (tortured poets, meet your colleagues from down the hall, the dead poets)," she said.

In the "Fortnight" video, Taylor plays a woman who appears to be trapped in some kind of asylum or mental institution. She is chained to a bed and forced to take pills, while Ethan and Josh play scientists who conduct experiments on her. Posty plays a tortured lover who tries to save Swift.
