Around two months before kicking off her tour in Los Angeles, the 'Girls in the Hood' raptress sparks speculations about a new record with her recent announcement.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion appeared to have hinted that she will be releasing a new album. Around two months ahead of her "Hot Girl Summer Tour", the "Girls in the Hood" raptress made many social media users believe that she has new music coming soon.

On Wednesday, May 1, the 28-year-old hip-hop artist made use of her Instagram page to tell her fans, famously known as Hotties, to "get ready" for her new project. In the caption of her post, she wrote, "Hotties it's officially MEGAN MAY. Get ready," adding a snake and flame emojis.

In the post, Megan uploaded a never-before-seen photo of herself. In the picture, it could be seen that she was striking a pose in an empty room. She apparently wore prosthetics, which were created to make it look like she was shedding, on her stomach down to her thighs. In addition, her upper body part was covered with sticky liquid.

The "Hiss" rapper looked stunning with her full makeup, including long lashes and glossy lipstick. Furthermore, her long black hair cascaded down her back. She styled it in waves and parted it in the middle.

It did not take long for the post to be flooded with online responses from Instagram users, including those who tried to guess what Megan was teasing. In the comments section, one in particular assumed, "Wow you really giving the girls ~2wks min to learn new music... around finals.. gorl," adding a skeleton and laughing face emojis.

Another asked, "Ok are we getting the album before the tour I'm confused." Meanwhile, a third demanded, "AT LEAST GIVE US THE NAME OF THEE ALBUM." A fourth penned, "Y'all complained when there was no music and now that we're getting it y'all are complaining still. Either listen or don't god damn."

The post came around two months before Megan kicked off her "Hot Girl Summer Tour". The Grammy-winning spitter, who will be joined by GloRilla, is slated to hit the stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on June 21. Later on, she will make tour stops in many cities, including Detroit, New Orleans and New York City.
