AceShowbiz - Brooks Nader will soon officially be back on the market. After getting married to Billy Haire for a little over four years, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model is reportedly divorcing her husband.
According to Page Six which first reported it, Brooks and her estranged husband had been living apart for months before they decided to get a divorce. A source, however, insists that the split is amicable with no bad blood or major drama between the soon-to-be exes.
Brooks, who has been featured in the SI Swimsuit Issue every year since she was discovered through a "Swim Search" contest in 2019, married Billy, an advertising executive, in New Orleans in December 2019.
At the time, she gushed to PEOPLE about how "excited" she was to finally "call [Billy] hubby" and that she was looking forward to their future together. "We are also excited to just continue our adventures together. We've done a lot of fun traveling and look forward to doing even more," she shared.
The 27-year-old also explained why their wedding location meant a lot to them. "I grew up in Louisiana and went to college in New Orleans for two years and love everything about the city," she divulged. "We will have some fun New Orleans traditions incorporated, like a line parade after the ceremony. It's a staple for New Orleans weddings."
The estranged couple was last photographed together in February during a beach vacation in Mexico. The split news comes as a surprise to those who have been rooting for the couple as they looked all loved-up and packed on the PDA during their last trip together, which was only two months before news of their divorce broke.
On April 28, Brooks attended the 8th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards solo.
