The 'Ghost Rider' actress recalls how it felt like to work with the 'Barbie' actor for their movie titled 'The Place Beyond the Pines', which was released back in 2012.

AceShowbiz - Eva Mendes could not help but shower Ryan Gosling with praise for his work ethic. In a newly-released interview, the "Ghost Rider" actress gushed over the actor portraying Ken in "Barbie" for his "commitment" to do his works as best as he can.

The 50-year-old actress recalled how it felt to work with her 43-year-old actor partner for their movie titled "The Place Beyond the Pines". Speaking on "Today", she admitted, "I've never experienced anything like that."

Eva went on to explain, "The way he works, his commitment to his craft, how he wants to make everything as best as it can be - and that means making his co-stars as best as they can be." She continued, "Unfortunately, or fortunately, there's only one Ryan, so I pretty much stopped acting after that."

During the chat, Eva, who shares two children with Ryan, also talked about her transition from having a busy schedule as an actress to becoming a full-time mother. Despite her experience working in the entertainment industry for more than a decade, she claimed that it was "a no-brainer" to step away from acting and start her new role as a stay-at-home mother after welcoming their kids.

The "Hitch" actress revealed, "It was like a no-brainer. I'm so lucky, and I was like, if I could have this time with my children - and I still work, I just didn't act, because acting takes you on location. It takes you away." She further recounted, "It was almost just like a non-verbal agreement that it was like, 'Okay, he's going to work and I'm going to work. I'm just going to work here.' "

Elsewhere in the interview, Eva shared her thoughts on Ryan's Oscars 2024 performance. About her partner delivering the song "I'm Just Ken" at the award show, she exclaimed, "He went and he did his job. He just happens to be really good at his job, and he did it and he came home," before adding, "That's what it's about, you go, you do your job the best you can, and then you come home."

Eva and Ryan started their relationship after working together for "The Place Beyond the Pines", which was released in 2012. They welcomed two daughters, Esmeralda Amada in September 2014 and Amada Lee in April 2016, together.
