AceShowbiz - Being a grandmother of 13 is tough, even for Kris Jenner. The famous momager shared in a new interview that she found it hard to treat her grandchildren to quality one-on-one time with her because it would leave her "broke."
"I often say to myself that I really should be the kind of grandmother that takes my grandchild to dinner, like once a month," Kris said at Los Angeles magazine's The L.A. Woman Luncheon on Thursday, March 21. "Like really get to know your grandchild and see what's happening in school and all this stuff."
"The Kardashians" star, who was honored as the magazine's L.A. Woman of the Year, continued, "And I thought if I did that, that would take half a month, just to go out to dinner with my grandkids. And I am like, nope not going to do that. They're not getting that out of me."
Kris shared that she drew the conclusion after treating daughter Kourtney Kardashian's eldest son Mason to a dinner. During the outing, Kris offered the 14-year-old boy a pretty lofty promise.
"I think I did make a little mistake because I took Mason out to dinner, and I was in a really good mood," Kris recalled. "I probably had a vodka or something, I don't know I wasn't driving."
The 68-year-old continued, "But we met at dinner because he likes to go have sushi and I was like, 'Listen if you don't drink or do drugs until you're sixteen, and you can prove it -- you know it involves testing and all sorts of stuff -- I will buy you a car for your sixteenth birthday.' "
Kris, who is reportedly worth an estimated $200 million, added, "And he loved that and what I realized that I have to do that 13 times. I'm going broke! Thirteen times."
Despite that, Kris shared that it made her "happy" to see her grandchildren most days. "My little thing at the end of the day when I am getting ready for bed, I say, 'how many of my grandkids did I get to see today?' And that's really a thing I do every single day. I count," she divulged.
She continued, "And yesterday I was at Kim's office... and some of my grandchildren came in and they were walking by and I'm like, 'Hold on one, two,' trying to count to see how far I get. But it’s like my thing. I love it, makes me very happy."
In addition to Mason, Kris' grandchildren are Kourtney and Scott Disick's kids Penelope, Reign as well as Kourtney and Travis Barker's son Rocky. Meanwhile, Kris' daughter Kim shares four children, North, Saint, Chicago, Psalm West, with Kanye West.
As for Khloe Kardashian, she has True and Tatum with ex Tristan Thompson. Kylie Jenner and ex Travis Scott (II) have Stormi and Aire Webster. On the other hand, Rob Kardashian shares daughter Dream with ex-fiancee Blac Chyna.
