The late-night TV host joins other comedy stars to celebrate Jim Carrey's 60th birthday in Los Angeles after he threatened the NFL star with a lawsuit for implying he's one of Jeffrey Epstein's associates.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Kimmel's name is on the guest list of Jim Carrey's birthday party. The comedian has stepped out for the first time to attend his fellow comic's birthday celebration since he was unwarrantedly dragged into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal by Aaron Rodgers.

On Wednesday, January 3, the late-night talk show host joined other comedy legends to celebrate the "Dumb and Dumber" star's 60th birthday at a super-exclusive bash in Los Angeles. He appeared to be in good spirits when leaving the San Vincente Bungalows, where the party was held, flashing a smile while heading to his car.

Adam Sandler, David Spade, Bill Burr, Howie Mandel and Jeff Ross were reportedly among other big comedy stars attending the bash. According to Page Six, they had a dinner with a huge cake.

One day before, Kimmel slammed Rodgers over the latter's comments on "The Pat McAfee Show" about him. In the Tuesday episode of the show, the NFL star insinuated that Kimmel might be one of Epstein's associates.

"That's supposed to be coming out soon ... A lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are really hoping that it doesn't happen," he said on the show. "I'll tell you what, if that list comes out I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle."

Responding to Rodgers' remarks, Kimmel fired back via X, formerly Twitter. "Dear A**shole: for the record, I've not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein," he wrote. "...nor will you find my name on any 'list' other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can't seem to distinguish from reality." He went on threatening Rodgers with a lawsuit as saying, "Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court. @AaronRodgers12."

On Wednesday, McAfee returned to his show to apologize for his part in the feud between Kimmel and Rodgers. "Whenever there's accusations made about people, that can lead to lawsuits," McAfee acknowledged. "I can see why Jimmy Kimmel felt the way he felt, especially with his position, but I think Aaron was just trying to talk s**t." He added, "Now, did it go too far? Jimmy Kimmel certainly said that was the case."

Not wanting any part in the drama, McAfee said, "So we apologize for being a part of it." He went on sharing his wish that Rodgers and Kimmel will make peace, adding, "I can't wait to hear what Aaron has to say about it. Hopefully those two will just be able to settle this, you know, not work-wise, but be able to chitchat and move along."

Rodgers has not addressed his controversial comments.

Meanwhile, the real list of Epstein's associates was unveiled on Wednesday, with Michael Jackson and Naomi Campbell being named in the documents along with Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew. Kevin Spacey, Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Willis, Cameron Diaz and Bruce Willis were also name dropped in the docs, but their inclusion does not necessarily imply any wrongdoing.
