After the multi-hyphenate star announces her Italian coast-inspired beverage company on Instagram, Internet users quickly come at her as they note that the singer/actress is not even a drinker.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez faced criticism after announcing the launch of her alcohol brand, Delola. After the multi-hyphenate star introduced her Italian coast-inspired beverage company on Wednesday, April 5, people came at her as they noted that she's sober.

Shortly after the "Hustlers" star shared the promo video for the brand on Instagram, fans rushed to the comments section to express their disappointment. "Oh wow. This is disappointing," wrote one person. "Why not create a NA brand considering you've been outspoken about the negative affects of alcohol and that you yourself don't drink? This feels so off-brand for you, genuinely curious why you're selling alcohol."

Another follower similarly wrote, "Jlo you don't drink. This is like something that is known and has been pointed out on numerous occasions. I mean….I get it- a coin is a coin- but mama you don't drink alcohol."

"She doesn't even drink but get that bag girl," someone else added. Another fan added, "But you literally don't drink? This is such a money grab ugh."

Some fans also questioned why Jennifer picked to launch an alcohol brand when her husband Ben Affleck had past issues with alcohol. "Ah capitalism strikes again," one user opined. "J.Lo was an inspiration for me to stay away from alcohol, tho she is not sober, she talked about how she rarely drinks and if she does it's a celebratory sip, so it's a bummer she is promoting alcohol when there are so many great NA drinks!"

Announcing her venture into the alcohol business with Delola, Jennifer said in her Instagram video, "I have been grinding non-stop for decades, and more and more I'm realizing the importance of enjoying life." The "Let's Get Loud" hitmaker added, "I just wanted to create something better - something better tasting, better ingredients, something I would want to drink with my friends and family, and that is Delola."

The three, ready-to-drink spritzes are said to contain a different spirit. The Bella Berry is made with vodka, the Paloma Rosa has tequila and the L'orange features an amaro base. The 750ml bottle retails for $23 and the 375ml is $12. They will hit stores, restaurants and bars in April.
