The Sports Illustrated model is named the Sexiest Woman Alive at the first ever PEOPLE Magazine Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Kate Upton won the Sexiest Woman Alive Award at the first ever PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday, December 18. "I'm so so sorry to my 18-year-old brother," Kate said as quoted by PEOPLE on Twitter.
"This is such an honor to me because sexy to me means someone who's confident and happy," she told the audience during her acceptance speech. The award was presented to her by "Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane. "There are a lot of reasons why Kate is sexy. Style, career, achievements, sense of humor, personality - oh and did I mention her... looks?" Eric praised the model.
Kate attended the event wearing a black leather top paired with a large belt and a black leather pencil skirt. Sporting natural color make-up, the 22-year-old model completed her look with gold accessories and matching pumps.
Hosted by Nick Cannon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, the event's honorees included Jennifer Lopez, Kevin Hart, Lisa Kudrow, Jon Hamm, Karlie Kloss, Jennifer Aniston, Michael Keaton, Gwen Stefani, Chloe Moretz, Kate Hudson and Jimmy Fallon.
Gwen, Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams and 5 Seconds of Summer were among the performers while other celebrities like Amber Rose, Josh Groban, John Krasinski, Kaley Cuoco, Ryan Phillippe and Elisabeth Moss also attended the event.
