Singer turned fashion designer has been selected as one among the 19 top shoe designers to use her expertise to redesign Dorothy's infamous ruby red shoes from the timeless classic film "The Wizard of Oz". Supported by Swarovski, Gwen, under her L.A.M.B label, will create her own version of the ruby slippers to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the family film epic next year.

Other prestigious shoe designers who are taking part in the project include; Alberta Ferretti, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta and Roger Vivier. All the shoe style gurus will display their designs at the Saks Fifth Avenue department store on September 4 later this year.

In companion with them is The Game's "Hate It or Love It" featuring 50 Cent, which remains at No. 2 on the Hot 100 for a fourth week. At number 4 is Akon's "Lonely," while Ciara's "Oh" featuring Ludacris jumps from No. 8 to No. 5. To go along them on the chart are Kelly Clarkson's "Behind These Hazel Eyes" at No.6, Rob Thomas debut single "Lonely No More" at No.7, and Coldplay's "Speed of Sound" at No.8.

Gwen Stefani's Dress Stolen From Museum

Gewn Stefani's red vinyl dress she wore for her band, No Doubt's, first hit album was stolen from Tuesday afternoon exhibition dedicated to the history of rock music in Orange County held in Fullerton Museum Center.

The police investigation suspected two young women, who at the time the gown missing, were seen to stand near the mannequin used to display Gwen's up to $5000 dress. But, the police haven't arrested anyone yet. On the other hand, Gwen's record company, Interscope, said that the dress could "secretly and savely" be returned at a drop box at the museum or at Rebel Waltz Inc., office, the Laguna Beach company that manages No Doubt.
