Chris Rock's 'Top Five' Releases Red Band Trailer

Rock portrays a comedian named Andre Allen in the comedy which also stars Gabrielle Union, Whoopi Goldberg and Kevin Hart among others.

AceShowbiz - Chris Rock's new comedy "Top Five" released a red band trailer on Wednesday, December 3 to tease fans prior to its release. The upcoming project, which is starring, written and directed by Rock, sees him playing a successful comedian named Andre Allen who is forced to confront both career as comedian and actor and the life he left behind after meeting a reporter played by Rosario Dawson.

The star-studded trailer sees Rock onstage as a stand-up comedian. He then shares a scene with Tracy Morgan and Sherri Shepherd as his comedian character makes a visit. Gabrielle Union also makes appearance in the video as his reality TV star fiancee.

In addition to the said stars, the comedy features performances by Kevin Hart, J.B. Smoove, Anders Holm, Romany Malco, Leslie Jones, Michael Che and Jay Pharoah. The movie will hit limited theaters on December 5 before going wide on December 12.
