Rumor has it, Victoria Adams will once again spread her wings in big screen. After playing herself in 1997 film "Spice World", the British star has been reported joining "Madagascar 3" to provide a new character's voice.

Talking about the reason why Adams decided to sign on for the animated movie project, a source close to the former Spice Girls member said, "It is like nothing she's done before. Her three boys loved the first two movies." However, it is not yet known whether or not the wife of footballer David Beckham will speak in her English accent for the third "Madagascar" film.

If the report is true, this will not be the first time Victoria Adams provides a voice for an animated project. She has lent her voice to Queen Amphitrite, a character in hit kids TV show "SpongeBob SquarePants", in an episode which is scheduled to be aired in summer 2010. Prior to the follow-up to "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa", she was rumored to play a cameo role in "Sex and the City 2", but she has allegedly turned down the offer.

"Madagascar 3" is said to follow the animals as they travel to Europe as part of a traveling circus. Both Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer, who voiced over in the first two films, are said to return to the same positions for the upcoming movie. DreamWorks Animation has planned to release the film in U.S. theaters on May 25, 2012.
