Blake Lively Comforting Maria Bello in New 'Pippa Lee' Clip

Just few days before the film is released in limited U.S. theaters on Thanksgiving weekend, November 27, Screen Media Films has provided another sneak peek at "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee". Making its way out via Zap2it, the footage features Blake Lively as young Pippa Lee, who is calmly speaking to her mother Maria Bello's Suky Sarkissian, when she becomes emotional.

When she is a teenager, Pippa runs away from her rural home and seeks refuge with her father's sister Trish in New York City since she is nearly driven mad by her complacent pastor father Des Sarkissian and bipolar mother Suky. Falling under the influence of Kit, her aunt's lesbian partner, Pippa rapidly descends into an underworld of illegal drugs and promiscuous sex. She is rescued from her decadent lifestyle by Herb Lee, a charismatic publisher who is 30 years her senior.

Blake Lively ditched gowns to show some cleavage inside a white blazer for the red carpet event of her latest movie "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee". The actress who plays the teen version of Pippa Lee in the movie also preferred to show off her legs with a black short and white heels.

Lively came to the event held at New York's AMC Loews 19th St. Theatre accompanied by her actor boyfriend, Penn Badgley. She took a time to pose with her co-stars Julianne Moore, Robin Wright Penn, Keanu Reeves and Zoe Kazan as well as author/scriptwriter/director, Rebecca Miller.

Blake Lively Not Comfortable Doing Bed Scene in 'The Private Lives of Pippa Lee'

Billed to portray young Pippa Lee in "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee", Blake Lively has filmed romantic scenes with her co-star Alan Arkin, who plays her love interest. In an interview with Collider, the depicter of Serena van der Woodsen in TV series "Gossip Girl" has shared about her experience shooting a bed scene in the movie.

"Well, I think it's uncomfortable, laying in strategically placed clothes that are taped on your body, in front of some strangers. That's always uncomfortable," Lively admitted. She then added, "But, I was with Alan and Rebecca [Miller], and our wonderful D.P., and it was a very private set. We're all actors, we're all professionals and we all understood what was happening. Everybody is uncomfortable with those scenes. You're never going to be comfortable being half-naked in front of anyone. But, it was fine. It was a short scene."

The 59th Berlin International Film Festival has been kicked off and with it comes a promo trailer for "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee". Shown at the festival, the preview of the drama movie, which narration is in Italian, displays the main character, Pippa Lee, in her present and past days as being portrayed by Robin Wright Penn and Blake Lively respectively.

A drama film written and directed by Rebecca Miller, "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee" centers on Pippa Lee's present and past. When she finds out that her husband falls for a younger woman, 50-year-old Pippa, who is addicted to methamphetamine, indulges herself in an array of erotic adventures while heading toward a quiet nervous breakdown.

Maggie Gyllenhaal Being Replaced by 'World Trade Center' Co-Star

The star of black comedy "Secretary", Maggie Gyllenhaal, will be possibly replaced by Maria Bello, her co-star in the Paramount Pictures' drama "World Trade Center", in the dramedy project "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee". According to Hollywood Reporter, Bello is in final talks to fill in the vacant role left by the sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

If the negotiation went well, Bello will take over the role of the mother of Robin Wright Penn's mother in a series of flashback sequences. Allegedly, the actress is considered for the role since her feature strikes a resemblance to the co-star of Christian Bale in "The Dark Knight". Bello has been involved in the replacing negotiation since Gyllenhaal had to drop out from the project due to conflicting schedules.
