Steven Spielberg Could Team Up With Will Smith for 'Oldboy' Remake

According to Variety, the director-actor pair has been involved in early talks about collaborating their star powers on "Oldboy", a remake to Chan Wook-Park's 2003 Japanese manga adaptation.
Reportedly, Spielberg has been seeking for a chance to team up with the "I Am Legend" star. Hence, if all goes according to plan, he will finally have the opportunity to direct Smith as the 40-year-old Hollywood star is said to be considered for the lead role of the kidnapped man. Additionally, the filmmaker is said to be looking for a writer to develop the movie.
