May 17, 2007 10:05:51The celebration for world's most prestigious film festival is on now as the 60th annual Cannes Film Festival began to roll Wednesday, May 16, 2007 with Wong Kar-wai's "My Blueberry Nights", a tale of a girl's heartbroken travels across the U.S..
Attending the lavish event were two leading stars of the drama, Jude Law and Norah Jones, along with Wong who remarked "Cannes is the right place to show the film for the first time to the public." Other well-known names present included Kelly Brook and her fiance Billy Zane, actress Minnie Driver, the festival's jury member Toni Collette, model Eva Herzigova, and Kerry Washington.

A collaborative production between StudioCanal and Jet Tone Production Co., the picture follows a young woman as she embarks on a journey across the country to search for answers about love. My Blueberry Nights, Norah Jones' Movie Debut
February 15, 2006 11:02:07Grammy-winning singer Norah Jones is about to make his movie debut in a film from Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai. Entitled "My Blueberry Nights," the film indeed is Wong's first English-language film.
Details on the new movie remain secret, though a source claimed that the story wouldn't revolve around the Hurricane Katrina disaster in the U.S. as reported earlier. It also won't be shot in New York doubling as New Orleans.
