Will McDreamy's 'Made of Honor' Win Audience's Heart?
April 24, 2008 01:04:05Set to be presented on May 2 by Columbia Pictures, the studio that brought "21" and "Vantage Point" to big screen, "Made of Honor" is facing a tough challenge to beat its strongest competitor "Iron Man". Relatively put under the shadow of the highly anticipated action film, the romantic comedy film set up Patrick Dempsey, the depicter of Dr. McDreamy in "Grey's Anatomy", as a man desperate to win his engaged-to-be-married best friend's heart.
Noted that the film seems like a reversal of the Julia Roberts' noted film "My Best Friend's Wedding", MoviesOnline further commented that the Paul Weiland-directed movie carry a tune similar to Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey-starrer film "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days". It would not disappoint the audience but it also wouldn't surprise them either as the site put it in a word, "Made of Honor" is "a relatively bland and forgettable film". Still, this is a typical film for people who longs for romantic films.

already in the beginning the end is quite obvious. I've seen it yesterday but I would have much rather rented it than pay to see it in the cinema. Just a little too superficial. The only part that is funny is the part of Hannahs grandma at the sextoys party from sharon.

I'm not much for romantic comedies usually and I'd have never picked this out on my own, but surprisingly enough this is a very good film. It's classy and the jokes are good and timed properly. Patrick Dempsey is gorgeous and Michelle Monaghan is very talented. I definitely recommend it.

This is the best movie I've ever seen! I think i've seen it like 10 times, and it still so funny. Maybe it's because I'm a big fan of PD. whatever, I'm in love with the movie anyway!
