You can't copy a great book like this and make up fake things about it. Dustfinger should also have a slash across his eye not below it. This is not Harry Potter some books should not even become movies. You guys should not make another on after this and I know that at least 50 people at my college read this and they do not conceed!

Inkheart is a good film, a little boring (the book is better) but both are nothing compared to TWILIGHT, the BEST movie i've ever seen.

It doesn't seem like inkheart is going to be much like the book. I don't like movies that change what happens to be different than in the book, but I'm hoping it's good.

I absolutely love this movie! The only thing is that they butchered the ending a little. Reesa got her voice back, when she was supposed to wait 'til the second book. Also, Dustfinger went back into Inkworld, which is almost a fourth of the second book. Other wise ITS AMAZING

I liked the book SOOOOOOOOOO much better! I mean, I liked the movie, it was okay and the cast did a good job, but seriously! It's a good book... Stop changing everything! Oh, and um... not to soung like a jerk, but, Dustfinger and Mo do not first meet at a book market, Dustfinger comes to Mo's house! And the Wizard of Oz wasn't even in the book! Sorry for the harsh review, but, I totally liked the book better!

I haven't seen it yet but it's my favourite book ever. I've read all of them!! Those people who think that they are fans are not they are just jumping on the band wagon. I was into it every since grade 4, which was 6 years ago. I hope that I'm not disapointed with it as I was with Eragon. ROCK ON INKHEART!!

posted by Gabby on Mar 31, 2009

Okay.. My biggest thing is that I LOVED FARID IN THE BOOK!!! the guy who plays him completely RUINED him for me. I read inkheart and inkspell( i must admit that i cried when both farid and dustfinger died) and i heard about inkdeath. I AM SOO MAD AT MEGGIE!!! How can she fall for this "Doria" guy after all that she and Farid have been through??? I feel so bad for him!!! poor farid. BAD MEGGIE! :( frown.. i mean i still like her,. I also agree with SteetFighter1. They changed everything!!1 I am so mad.

posted by aggiebau on Apr 01, 2009

I agree with most of you. I absolutely love the books, but i dont have inkdeath yet. Layla: I'm pretty much a twilight expert, and The book was nothing like the movie! how can you say it was the best? The movie sucked! I really hope inkheart isnt like that... I almost don't want to see it because of the dissappointment i felt when i saw twilight. I have been having anxiety attacks ever since i heard that meggie ditched Farid to go with her "new love" (honestly, she's only thirteen! I am thirteen too and I have never had anything more than a few crushes!)I FEEL SO BAD FOR FARID! in the book, it's almost impossible for any girl not to kinda "fall in love" with him! I don't understand Meggie! Cornelia is such a great writer that her people actually seem to live and breathe!!!!! PS iam the same person as the last entry....

posted by aggiebau on Apr 01, 2009

I agree with alot of you. The book was WAY better. I mean Dustfinger doesn't go home in the book he goes in the second i mean really. And I think Meggie is okay with Doria i mean if Farid still liked Meggie he should have paid more attention to her not her dad. I love all the books but i hope if the other two are made into movies they wont change them as much as they did with Inkheart

posted by cutmeabreak on Apr 06, 2009

The movie was kind of what seemed like a blend of all 3 Inkheart books into 1. Lookinga t it that way, it was pretty good. The books where better though.

posted by inkfan on Apr 06, 2009

EXCELLENT MOVIE!Paul Bettany did my fave character justice with his fire dancing! <3 the only problem i had was with jennifer connelly/roxane. Wtf was she doing there?? However, thats probably because i cant stand roxane...>_< And the ending left something to be desired. However, it was funny to laugh at farid and AHMAZING to look at dusty and brenden fraser so it makes up for it. I DEFINETLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE AND ALL THREE BOOKS TO EVERY PERSON WITH A HEARTBEAT!It is soooo worth a copy of each (or two. my first edition of inkheart's spine fell apart so i bought another).

posted by theultimateinkheartf on Apr 07, 2009

The books and movie are exellent I'v read all 3 books and seen the movie and if any one asks my opinnion i would say they were the best books and the best movie on the earth. They are totally cool.

The book was 5 star, certainly the best book I ever read and the movie was very good although they strayed from the plot a few times. Dustfinger should not go back in the end that sort of screwed up the end so it will be very hard for them to make the next book, if they do. There were other times they strayed too but none too important. Also Dustfinger was made a little to dark and scheming and Mo should have been more nerdy and bookwormy. But overall I loved it! Read the books they are awesome!!!!
