'Clash of the Titans' Releases First Teaser Trailer
November 11, 2009 11:11:59Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for "Clash of the Titans" on Tuesday, November 10. Making its way out via Yahoo! Movies, the approximately one-minute clip offers glimpses at the actions as well as the creatures featured in the Louis Leterrier-directed movie.
"Clash of the Titans" is a modern version of the 1981 Greek mythology film. The forthcoming film revolves around Perseus, who is helpless to save his family, including his beloved Princess Andromeda, from Hades, a vengeful god of the underworld. Perseus, with nothing to lose, volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth.

Early Looks at Medusa Exposed in 'Clash of the Titans' Posters
November 04, 2009 04:11:48First looks at Medusa from the forthcoming "Clash of the Titans" have been leaked out in the form of teaser posters. The one-sheets were brought into attention by Ain't It Cool News. One takes a close up look at the female monster who is famed for having snakes for hair, the other one displays Sam Worthington's Perseus holding the Medusa's head up in the air.
Beside those two posters, there were six other one-sheets from AICN. Three of which are character posters, which feature individual shot of Perseus, Liam Neeson's Zeus and Gemma Arterton's Io. Another poster sees Perseus riding a pegasus, while the remaining two expose Alexa Davalos' Princess Andromeda being sacrificed to the Kraken.

'Clash of the Titans': First Look at Zeus and Other Pics
October 03, 2009 09:10:32A batch of new photos for "Clash of the Titans" has been found. Five of the overall eight fresh images are stills from the action fantasy and are featured in the latest issue of Empire Magazine. The rest of them, meanwhile, are pictures from the set and are included in the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly.
All of the five stills present the leading character played by Sam Worthington, Perseus. Running amidst fire around him, leading a band of warrior and taking a hide behind a broken down pillar are some of the scenes he is seen in the photos. Meanwhile, most of the on-set pictures give out first look at Liam Neeson as Zeus.

The newest issue of the magazine, which is already on sale, features a mad-looking son of Zeus on the cover as well as in the article inside.
Prior to the outing of the cover shot, MTV has aired first look at the action fantasy on September 4 during "Behind the Screen" special. The exclusive footage presented sneak peek in two forms; a set visit and B-roll. Both of the videos show never-before-seen footage from the film's shooting location.

The exclusive footage is outed in two forms; a set visit and B-roll videos, and they both present similar never-before-seen footage from the film's shooting location.
Both of the videos take a look at the Wales set of the big-budget action remake. While the set visit offers commentary from leading actor Sam Worthington and other cast members which include Gemma Arterton, Liam Cunningham, Mads Mikkelsen and Nicholas Hoult, the B-roll mostly sees the filming of some action sequences from the movie.

MTV to Air Sneak Peek at 'Clash of the Titans'
September 01, 2009 03:09:21A sneak peek at the remake to the 1981 Greek mythology film, "Clash of the Titans" will be made available to view on Friday, September 4. MTV revealed that the first look footage will be a part of the return of its "Behind the Screen" program to the airwaves and will expose footage from the U.K. set as well as the actions happening there.
Teasing what to expect from the sneak peek, MTV News published a bit of what star Sam Worthington has to say about the movie. "Nowadays, you have the privilege of CG," he gushed. "So what the guys and [director] Louis [Leterrier] have set out to do is raise the Richter scale to 11 in the sense of the scorpions are the size of dump trucks, and Medusa's a lot quicker, a lot scarier."

June 16, 2009 01:06:31After a scan photo of Sam Worthington as Perseus made its way out earlier, a brand new photo featuring another character featured in "Clash of the Titans" has been uncovered. The fresh picture coming out via Gemma Arterton Online exposes Gemma Arterton portraying Io, Perseus' love interest.
The freshly-found photo is taken on the set of the remake movie. In it, the MI6 agent Strawberry Fields in "Quantum of Solace" is captured dressed in her Io costume. She is wrapped in a giant shawl and overlooking her shoulder while in front of her lays a vast sea. Camera and director Louis Leterrier is spotted standing behind her.

Perseus is the main character in this modern version of "Clash of the Titans". Slash Film reported that this Daniel Craig's co-star in "Quantum of Solace" let it slip on Sunday night, March 29, at the Empire Awards, that she has been tapped to star in the remake of 1981 Greek mythology film.
Slash Film's report has been strengthened by The Sydney Morning Herald. In the article wherein she set things straight on rumors of her French-kissing Jake Gyllenhaal during "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" filming, the paper wrote that the 23-year-old is about to join the principal photography of "Titans". The trade also quoted the "St. Trinian's" star on her future co-star Sam Worthington as she said, "I hope he's nice because we have to fall in love".

Stephen Norrington Hired as Clash of the Titans Helmer

Production is expected to begin next year based on the script by Lawrence Kasdan, which was originally written by Travis Beacham. Thunder Road's Basil Iwanyk is producing for both Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, the latter also holding the North American distribution to the flick.

IESB.net has come up with a very interesting tidbit from its sources claiming the two film companies are keen to have Sam Raimi as the director of the project, a remake of Desmond Davis' 1981 cult classic of the same name.
The site further informed that the "Spider-Man" trilogy helmer so far is the only one being tipped for the position while also pointing out that Warner Bros. may have offered him everything "under the sun" as the studio is willing to do anything to lock the man into a multi-picture deal.

Lawrence Kasdan Witnesses "Clash of the Titans"
April 16, 2007 03:04:33Making another change on the script of its mythology-based project "Clash of the Titans", Warner Bros. Pictures this time is tapping Lawrence Kasdan to carry out the duty, The Hollywood Reported has revealed.
A three-time Oscar nominee in writing category, Kasdan is replacing "Killing on Carnival Row" scribe Travis Beacham who previously got hired by Warner to pen a draft for the movie. Beacham himself at that time was appointed to take over the role from John Glenn and Travis Adam Wright, whom the company first gave the assignment back in 2002.
