First Official Look at 'The A-Team'

Fans of "The A-Team" don't have to wait much longer for a real look at the new do-gooder mercenaries with the release of the film's first official photo. Standing in front of the mist and armed with guns are Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Quinton Jackson as B.A. Baracus, Sharlto Copley as H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdoch and Liam Neeson as Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith.

Before this official image was made available to view, a look at the new team was shared through a photo and a video from the set. The picture was taken from the film set in Vancouver, British Columbia on Wednesday, September 30, while the video was a set visit from Entertainment Tonight. They mostly highlight on Cooper's character, Face.

Entertainment Tonight has got a chance to visit the Vancouver set of the in-production "The A-Team", and posted the on-set video for viewing pleasure. The set visit video mostly features interview with Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel and Quinton Jackson, but a glimpse of Sharlto Copley as H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdoch is also included.

In the video, Cooper tells ET's Kevin Frazier about the strict regimen he follows to stay in shape for his Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck role. "I have just been sort of on this crazy, just sort of getting-in-shape regimen," he gushes. "No salt or sugar, that's been great. I just eat what they put in front of me, but it's a lot of like boiled chicken, and brown rice, and broccoli. Whoo!"

Days after the four leading men of "The A-Team" were spotted on the set, two new set photos came out and unraveled first look at the former lover of Faceman portrayed by Jessica Biel. Brought forth by Coming Soon, the pictures captured the actress in her Army general role on a German airport set in Vancouver.

Earlier, SplashNews unveiled an on-set video that features how the new A-Team will look like. Taken from the Vancouver set on Wednesday, September 30, it provided a look at Liam Neeson as Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper as Lt. How the new A-Team will look like has been unraveled through a video from the set of "The A-Team". Providing the first look at the all four major characters, Liam Neeson's Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper's Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Quinton Jackson's B.A. Baracus and Sharlto Copley's H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdoch, together was SplashNews.

The video is taken from the film set in Vancouver, British Columbia on Wednesday, September 30, and features Cooper firing rounds from the machine gun in his hands. The big changes in the TV adaptation, as seen in the footage, are that B.A. has lost his signature Mohawk haircut and that there are no gold chains around his neck. First Look at The A-Team's Van for Film Version

"The A-Team" has kicked off its principal photography in British Columbia, Canada, and a series of on-set photos from the production has got out. The pictures from the set were brought forth by SplashNews and exposed the first look at the mercenary team's new van.

While the storyline for this big screen version has undergone some adjustments with the team being Iraq vets instead of Vietnam vets, the van used for this Joe Carnahan-directed movie doesn't look much different from the one seen in the original television series. Jessica Biel to Be Bradley Cooper's Ex in 'The A-Team'

A female lead role for TV-to-film adaptation "The A-Team" could fall onto the lap of Jessica Biel. According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), the Larita Whittaker of "Easy Virtue" is in talks to star opposite the already-signed cast, Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton Jackson aka Rampage Jackson.

Should a deal is finalized, the 27-year-old movie beauty will star as the Army general pursuing the mercenary team who also happens to be the former lover of Cooper's Faceman. The role won't be her first in the shoes of a military officer. She had portrayed Navy pilot Lieutenant Kara Wade in 2005's "Stealth".

Closing in its principal photography date, "The A-Team" is hit with another casting report. Moviehole broke the news that David Richmond-Peck, who has worked with director Joe Carnahan for direct-to-DVD sequel of "Smokin' Aces", has been offered the role of Gammons.

Richmond-Peck reportedly was on top of Carnahan's list for the movie's baddie because Carnahan was reportedly "so impressed" by his multi-faceted performance in "Smokin' Aces : Blowback". Before being offered Gammons role, the actor who plays Georgie in ABC's "V" had earlier tested for the role of the lead villain, Lynch.

"District 9" star Sharlto Copley could be making a transition from being a company's field operative to be a war veteran. According to BlackFilm.com, 20th Century Fox has sent an offer to the 35-year-old actor to take on the role of Captain H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock in "The A-Team", the movie adaptation to NBC's popular '80s TV series.

There are yet words on whether or not the Wikus van de Merwe of the Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi has accepted the offer. Should Copley take the role, he would be joining Liam Neeson who will play John "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper who will take on Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, and Quinton Jackson who will star as Sgt. "B.A." Baracus.

Quinton Jackson, aka Rampage Jackson, may well be the new B.A. Baracus in "The A-Team". Despite earlier denial from Rampage's manager over his possible role as B.A., the Vancouver Sun indicated that the former UFC world lightweight champion will indeed take on the role once made famous by Mr. T.

The Vancouver Sun reported that Rampage has been spotted in and around Vancouver where the filming of the TV adaptation is set to take place. Noting that the fighter was in Vancouver on August 19 to discuss the role with producer, it further claimed that Rampage's name has been removed from the UFC 107 card where he was set to face Sugar Rashad Evans in an Ultimate Fighter finale showdown.

Casting is underway for the big screen adaptation of '80s TV series "The A-Team", and The Game's name has been thrown as one of the potential cast members. According to Black Film, the 29-year-old rapper who has received two Grammy nominations is among the leading candidates to take on the role of B.A. Baracus.

If he secures the part originated by Mr. T on the television show, it is plausible that he will share screen with other potential actors, Liam Neeson, who is rumored to star as John "Hannibal" Smith, and Bradley Cooper who is linked to Lt. A casting news is coming out for "The A-Team", linking actor Liam Neeson to one of the four major characters. According to Variety, the Bryan Mills of "Taken" is in negotiation with 20th Century Fox to star as the leader of the A-Team, Colonel John Smith who is more well known as Hannibal.

The 57-year-old reportedly is working out on the money issues with the studio. If all went according to plan, the Academy Award-nominated actor will replace actor George Peppard, who originated the master-of-disguise character in the '80s television series, and star opposite "The Hangover" star Bradley Cooper.

Upon being asked about the speculation, the "Wedding Crashers" actor's response was a mix of surprise and astonishment, saying "That's out already!?". He then added, "Wow. Yeah...its Joe Carnahan's. Twentieth Century Fox are back on track in bringing NBC's popular '80s TV series to the big screen. According to Variety, the studio has appointed "Smokin' Aces" helmer, Joe Carnahan, as the director of "The A-Team". He will fill in the gap left open after director John Singleton, who was attached to the project earlier, dropped out.

Carnahan, the co-writer of "Pride and Glory", will join forces with executive producer Tony Scott and producers, Ridley Scott, Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell, the latest of whom created the original series. Carnahan is also expected to polish Skip Woods' script with Brian Bloom.

Finally a directing name has positively boarded "The A-Team", 20th Century Fox's big screen version of NBC's popular series in the '80s of the same name.

Oscar-nominated filmmaker John Singleton has confirmed to USA TODAY that he is indeed set to direct the project, which creator of the original series Stephen J. Cannell is producing. For those who are curious about the future of "The A-Team", the big screen adaptation of the '80s TV series of the same name, here comes the update of the project. In a recent interview with Empire, producer Stephen J. Cannell delightfully has provided few tidbits of the movie, which presumably will not hit theaters until at least 2008.

Assuring the series fans that the flick is slowly taking shape, Cannell has revealed that a new script is being penned by an unnamed writer to replace the draft written by Bruce Feristein back in 2004 as well as the half-dozen others which have been written to date.
