Per Pagesix.com, it is reported that Life & Style magazine paid for the extravagant bash, held Sunday night July 2nd at the Polaroid Beach House in Malibu. The event was catered by hip celebrity chef Kerry Simon, after the star visited his newly-opened restaurant Simon LA.

Speeding up in the recently released "Cars", Owen Wilson is prompt indeed to be an affordable bodyguard in the next comedy by Paramount Pictures to hit the screen, "Drillbit Taylor".
The bodyguard is supposed to protect two high school freshmen from any threat of bullying action since their first day at school. The fact that the big soldier guy keeps on failing in doing the job becomes where the story rolls.

"American Idol" Taylor Hicks has surprisingly topped People magazine's "Hottest Bachelor" list and he also is looking for love. The newly born star tops People's list in the magazine's new issue, on newsstands Friday.
Though so, Taylor says he'd happily give up his bachelor days, insisting "There's been no time. Now, I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with the right woman." In somewhat a different case, Taylor also wants to find a woman he exchanged glances with on a recent airline flight. Of the mystery blonde, he says, "We waved and did a double-take look. It seemed like something out of a movie."

The 2006 MTV Movie Awards show, held on Saturday June 3rd on a soundstage at Sony Studios, celebrated the big winning of last summer's "Wedding Crashers" which at that time collected three trophies all at once, including the coveted Golden Popcorn for Best Movie.
In addition to that, the flick also brought winning to Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson who both shared the Best On-Screen Team honor, and that for Isla Fisher who won the Breakthrough Performance award. Just behind "Wedding Crashers" there came "Brokeback Mountain" which brought Jake Gyllenhaal to double winning mainly for Best Performance category and Best Kiss which he shared with Heath Ledger.

Aside from Jessica Alba who is slated to host this year's MTV Movie Awards, as for Christina Aguilera she's set to sing at the event.
The singer reportedly will perform and debut music from her awaited new album, "Back to Basics". In companion with her, there will also punk rock band AFI who is about to perform songs from their new album, "Decemberunderground," slated for release June 6.

In two other film categories, "Wedding Crashers" was named Top Comedy and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" was chosen as the Favorite Family Movie.
Named Favorite Male Movie Star was Johnny Depp, while Sandra Bullock won the Favorite Female Movie Star category. Favorite Leading Lady honor went to Reese Witherspoon, and the Favorite Leading Man was Brad Pitt. The film, stars Owen Wilson as the leading male, centers on Walter Mitty, a daydreaming accountant with an overprotective mother, likes to imagine himself as a hero experiencing great adventures. His dream becomes true when he accidentally meets a mysterious woman who hands him a little black book. According to her it contains the locations of the Dutch crown jewels hidden since World War II. Soon Mitty finds himself in the middle of a confusing conspiracy and has to admit that being a hero in real life isn't that easy.
