Miranda Otto was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on December 16, 1967. She was born to the Australian actor Barry Otto and Lindsay. Otto is an Australian actress who has worked mainly in film and who is best known for playing Éowyn role in both Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and its trilogy The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003).
