May 05, 2009 09:05:22A representative for Maggie Gyllenhaal confirms the actress has wed her actor fiance Peter Sarsgaard over the weekend. In a statement exclusively issued to US Weekly, the representative said, "We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2."
No other details of the celebrity couple's wedding have been made public though. According to previous reports, both of them tied the knot at a small chapel at luxury hotel Masseria in Brindisi, which is in the Puglia region of Italy. Maggie's actor brother Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon were said attending the wedding.

One of the counts the superhero movie nabbed was for Best Action/Adventure/Thriller Film. In the category, it will compete against two of Clint Eastwood's films, "Changeling" and "Gran Torino", a James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace", a Don Cheadle-starrer thriller "Traitor" and a Bryan Singer's world war II drama "Valkyrie".

From the announcement, it is revealed that the hit summer blockbuster movie "The Dark Knight" has led the pack with an astounding 21 nominations from The Ultimate Scream to Most Memorable Mutilation category.
Aside from collecting gongs for its installment, "Dark Knight" has also brought in nods for its cast and crew. Four of the Warner Bros.
