May 28, 2009 01:05:04Beaten but no forgotten, "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert was invited for a little talk on "Live with Regis and Kelly" Wednesday, May 27. Both Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa traced back Adam's journey before the "Idol" fame, going as far as his childhood when he started playing in theaters.
Revealing "Your a Good Man, Charlie Brown" as his first gig, Adam said that the stint was not professional but he "wanted it bad" and that it became an "obsession". But he was not too keen on the term 'Broadway Guy' that was labeled to him. "I think that's kind of small minded," he said. "I think that a lot of Broadway performers that are here in New York and all over the country have other types of music they can do too and create all types of art."

Plump with two nominations under their belts are "Rachael Ray", "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Live with Regis and Kelly". All three of them compete against each other under the category of Talk Show/Entertainment and their hosts are in the run for Talk Show Host along with "The View" ladies Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters.
Jonas Brothers on 'Live with Regis and Kelly' and 'Good Morning America'

All three of the brothers, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas, talked about fame, their imminent movie "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" and answered 'burning questions' from their fans.
Among the things that the boys had to answer are whether they ever Google themselves or use the bathroom while live on stage. Host Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa also showed a short clip that spoofs them and fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus.

On Monday, December 1, the drama musical saw a star-studded screening event being held at AMC Loews 19th Street in the Big Apple, where stars from Beyonce Knowles to Kelly Ripa were spotted.
Though missing out on the signature red carpet, the premiere extravaganza was still attended by Knowles' co-stars, Adrien Brody, Columbus Short, Eamonn Walker, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Gabrielle Union, Mos Def, Chyna Layne and Jeffrey Wright. Producer Sofia Sondervan and director Darnell Martin also made time to come to the event.
Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, Guest Stars on 'Brothers and Sisters'
October 17, 2008 01:10:25"Live With Regis & Kelly" hosts, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, will be guest stars on ABC's series "Brothers & Sisters". They will make an appearance for this third season and on episode 12 tentatively titled "Sibling Rivalry" and scheduled on December 14.
The episode will have a scene for Regis and Kelly when one of the main characters, Kitty Walker (Calista Flockhart), goes on "Live" to promote her new book. Being guest stars on "Brothers & Sisters" is nothing new for Regis and Kelly. Both hosts have made similar contribution when they appeared on hit TV series, "Ugly Betty".

Unlike many other stars who previously make a change appearance, Lohan's absence from the project was quite unusual as the live program was informed minutes after showtime.
"Lindsay Lohan is sick. She's not coming," Regis Philbin said on the air soon as he knew that his guest would not be arriving as planned. "Well, that's kind of a blow." Further Philbin revealed "She has food poisoning. What'd they find out, about (9:05)? ... She tried to make it." Thus, the talk show then filled time with an interview and performance by Ashanti.

Well, that's fair enough considering that Richards has successfully put her tremendous body back into shape in record time after back-to-back pregnancies with daughters Sam (21 months) and Lola (5 months).
