Each film gloriously collected three honors with "Country" snatching top prize of Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Javier Bardem, and Best Director for brothers Joel and Ethan Coen. "Blood", in the meantime, won leading star Daniel Day-Lewis the Best Actor while bringing Robert Elswit and Jonny Greenwood the Best Cinematography and Score trophy, respectively.

Fully realizing the star powers behind an animated feature, Focus Features CEO James Schamus proudly announced on Tuesday, March 20, that the studio's animated epic "9" is featuring an all-star voice cast consisting of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer, and John C. Reilly.
"This exciting and thought-provoking story has already drawn a strong filmmaking team together to work with Shane in bringing his visionary fantasy world to life," Schamus claimed. "These splendid actors will provide compelling characterizations to go with the visual brilliance."
John C. Reilly Does "Walk Hard"

Roles keep coming heavily to John C. Reilly. Fresh from "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" while already being included in "Step Brothers", the actor delightfully has been billed to star in Columbia Pictures' new project of "Walk Hard" following the company's success in obtaining the film's rights, so Variety has reported.
As the movie's story tells about fictional music legend Dewey Cox, Reilly will likely to play the character, whose life becomes as messy as the protagonists in "Ray" and "Walk the Line." "My character is an amalgamation of a number of classic musician stories, tales of excess, highs and lows and bad behavior," he commented.
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly Become "Step Brothers"

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are sharing the screen once more. Fresh from "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby", the duo have been billed to again team up in "Step Brothers", a new comedic feature developed by Columbia Pictures.
Already made a preemptive deal for the project, the company has tapped Adam McKay to direct based on a screenplay he is set to write with Ferrell. The writing task therefore will be the third film script penned by both of them after "Anchorman" and "Talladega."

There are at least four more artists who are about to join the cast of the upcoming "Year of the Dog". The people are Peter Sarsgaard, Regina King, John C. Reilly and Laura Dern, all of whom are in negotiations to join Molly Shannon in the comedy flick.
