August 31, 2009 10:08:21Singer-actor Jesse McCartney has been photographed kissing his new girlfriend this weekend. The 22-year-old star and his leading lady, identified as Jasmine Waltz, were caught on camera locking lips as they took a dip at a beach in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday afternoon, August 29. Celebrity Mania has some pictures of the pair cuddling.
The weekend outing wasn't the first time that McCartney and Waltz were seen together. Last month, the couple was spotted enjoying a date at the Whist restaurant in the Viceroy Santa Monica. They also traveled to San Diego together. In May, they hit West Hollywood's Stone Rose Bar together.
Music Winners for 22nd Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards
March 30, 2009 09:03:02Winners in music categories for the 22nd Annual Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards have been announced in a gala ceremony taking place on Saturday, March 28 at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. Jonas Brothers and Beyonce Knowles were among those walking away with a trophy at the event.
The Jonas boys won Favorite Music Group, beating down DAUGHTRY, Linkin Park and The Pussycat Dolls. "Thank you guys so much," Joe Jonas said as taking the stage to collect the prize. Nick Jonas then added, "It's been amazing. We've enjoyed the ride thoroughly."

The video guest-starring Sean Garrett and also Ludacris captures Jesse driving his car through "the desert at high speeds, like 80, 90 mph, jumping in and out of cars, talking to different girls."
"You have the Ludacris element, with me car-surfing on the hood on one of these old-school cars," Jesse previously told MTV during the shooting of the video. "And I said, 'As long as you have one of those old-school cars and big-ass chains in a video, I'm down.' ... What else do you want in a video?" Ludacris jokingly added, "Old-school cars, big-ass chains and hot women ... that's it! You don't need an explanation to that."

'Slumdog Millionaire' Star Dev Patel Comments on 'The Last Airbender' Role

"I play a character called Zuko who is the Prince of the Fire Nation," he starts off explaining about his character, "and it's good because it's a dark role."
"I'm not playing the hero, whereas in 'Slumdog' it was real character acting and performance-oriented," the star of "Slumdog Millionaire" then continues, pointing on the difference between Zuko and Jamal Malik. "This is [as well], but it's much more physical, with martial arts. I'm learning on the job, so this is a great new experience for me."

Of the matter, Variety reported the pop singer has to bow out from the project due to scheduling conflict with his touring dates.

Night Shyamalan stated, "Jesse had tour dates that conflicted with a boot camp I always hold on my films, and where the actors here have to train for martial arts." In a casting report, Entertainment Weekly claimed that Jesse McCartney and Jackson Rathbone's names have popped out in the cast ensemble list for the live-action adaptation of animation series "Avatar: The Last Airbender".
While McCartney, the "Leavin'" singer who voiced JoJo in "Horton Hears a Who!", has been said to still be in negotiation for the role of Zuko, the Fire Nation's evil prince, Rathbone, who recently appeared as Jasper Hale in "Twilight", is lined-up to be Aang's pal named Sokka. Looks like Johnny Depp's charisma has grown stronger. What's interesting here is that the "Beautiful Soul" singer previously was placed far below on the #60, so this certainly is such a great leap for this New Yorker to make.
