Promo Trailer for 'The Expendables' Explodes
October 14, 2009 10:10:56Nearly a month after its teaser trailer came out in bootleg format, "The Expendables" has got a promo trailer being outed. Around three minutes long, the newly-found sneak peek highlights mostly on the actions done by Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li. Nonetheless, glimpses at other characters are also offered.
A hard-hitting action/thriller, "The Expendables" centers on a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Soon after their mission begins, the group led by Barney Ross realizes things aren't quite as they appear and finds themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.
U.K. Trailer for 'Crank 2' Explodes

This time, it is a new U.K. trailer, which was debuted exclusively by Empire. Timed at one minute sharp, the newly-outed promo video is basically a shorter version of the previously-released trailers and yet to expose the plot.
A sequel to 2006 action thriller "Crank", "Crank: High Voltage" will pick up exactly where the first film left off. In this follow-up movie, hitman Chev Chelios finds himself in a chase through Los Angeles in pursuit of the Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart. During his wild chase, he will be seen shocking himself with regular jolts of electricity to stay alive until he gets his hands on his heart.
Behind-the-Scene Footage of 'Transporter 3'

Giving a minute of the film's snippets as well as the on-set shooting, the video also contains a commentary from leading actor Jason Statham who discusses about his character, Frank Martin.
Though containing many footage that have been outed through the trailers, this video still manages to bring fresh footage from the film. It also brings forth more of the action and fighting sequences as well as a brief glimpse into the romance Martin will get in this third "Transporter" movie. Jason Statham Back as Mercenary Driver in 'Transporter 3'
February 26, 2008 11:02:39The action star in "The Transporter" Jason Statham is going to reprise his famous character Frank Martin, a mercenary driver who delivers packages without questions, in the third installment of the action feature film series "Transporter 3". According to Variety, the action man in "Crank" will be once again working together with his "Transporter" co-star Francois Berleand.
In the film, the 35-year-old English actor will also play alongside the actor in television series "Prison Break", Robert Knepper who also appeared in action film "Hitman". Additionally, in the third "Transporter" film, he will act under the direction of Olivier Megaton who has been reported to officially replace Louis Leterrier, the helmer of the action film's first two projects.

January 25, 2008 02:01:37In his latest interview, the action star of "The Transporter" Jason Statham revealed that he wants to portray "The Crow". On January 24, the English actor expressed his interest on playing a part in the remake of the action thriller movie.
On the occasion, he said, "You know, there's talk of them redoing The Crow. That was a good movie with Brandon Lee, although that was years ago." He then admitted his wish stating, "So if that one comes my way, bang! You know, there's so many comic book movies out there and most of the time there's only a handful of people who can do them any justice. Hopefully, they'll come my way for one of them."

Joe: Rise of Cobra", IESB.net now is coming with a new one already, stating Jason Statham is getting considered to play the role of Action Man, the original G.I. Joe doll's British counterpart initially produced by Palitoy in 1966, in the movie.
"The producers are keen on keeping the Action Man character in the film to make marketing of the film easier abroad including using that name for international territories to avoid any potential negative reactions that some parts of the world may have with the name G.I. Joe," so the site claimed.

Remains being enthusiastic in bringing thrills to moviegoers, Jason Statham is reportedly involved negotiations to topline futuristic action thriller "Death Race" which Universal Pictures is currently developing under its banner.
Originally set up at Paramount Pictures as a vehicle for Tom Cruise, the flick is a remake of the 1975 cult classic "Death Race 2000" which takes place in a dystopian America where the president presides over an ultra-violent road race from New York to Los Angeles. Here contestants get score points for running people down using their heavily armed cars as they speed across the country.
Roger Donaldson Strolling Down "Baker Street"

Submitting another directorial stint into his burgeoning resume, Roger Donaldson has come on board to helm Arclight Films' "Baker Street", which is based on a true story of the legendary 1971 Baker Street bank robbery.
Slated to start filming early next year in the U.K with Jason Statham starring, the thriller project depicts how one of the biggest robberies in British history took place with no arrests ever made, nor money ever recovered. Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais have both been assigned to work on the screenplay while Steve Chasman and Charles Roven are set to produce.
