'The Box' Went Red for New York Premiere
November 05, 2009 01:11:10Two days before "The Box" opens wide in U.S. theaters, Warner Bros. Pictures gave it a red carpet treatment. The studio threw a New York premiere for the horror movie on Wednesday, November 4, making use of the Big Apple's AMC Lincoln Square as the venue for the special screening event.
Both of the leading stars, Cameron Diaz and James Marsden, were present during the premiere. The actors who play on-screen couple Norma and Arthur Lewis in the movie made time to pose together as well as with director/producer/writer Richard Kelly for the line of press at the red carpet.
James Marsden Gets a Warning in New 'The Box' Clip

Nearly three-minute long, the snippet is debuted via MTV attached to his guest blog post. The footage centers on James Marsden's Arthur Lewis and Gillian Jacobs' Dana.
In the posting Kelly wrote for MTV, the filmmaker addressed the music composed and performed by Arcade Fire for the movie. "On the night of September 20, 2007 - my producing partner Sean McKittrick and I went to see the now legendary Arcade Fire show at the Hollywood Bowl. My assistant Jeff Culotta (who has since been promoted to a production executive at Darko Entertainment) had arranged a meeting backstage with the band," he recalled.

Cox, her husband David Arquette, and their celebrity pals are all challenged to raise such amount of money in two weeks to benefit the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
Joining Cox and Arquette in the awareness-and money-raising effort are close friend Jennifer Aniston, Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, James Marsden, Eva Longoria Parker, Aniston's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, Gwen Stefani, and Gavin Rossdale. Cox and Arquette are heading up the effort as members of the honorary advisory board of the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, where Aniston, Pitt, Rossdale and Stefani are also members.

After lining up renowned names for the cast of "Hairspray", New Line is now adding the musical film anticipation with its soundtrack release. The soundtrack that will feature the original voice of the cast will premiere 10 days before its movie.
In debt of this project is New Line Records that will release the first single from the 17-tracks-album on May 15. Zac Efron's "Ladies' Choice" is made the very first single which will be available for digital download. Apart from Efron's song, there will also be other two other original scores titled "New Girl in Town" and "Come So Far" that were created specially for the film version of the Broadway musical.

Coming onboard to accompany "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl, Malin Akerman and James Marsden have both signed on to take starring role in romantic comedy "27 Dresses", which Spyglass Entertainment is developing for Fox 2000.
While Heighl has been reported to play a young woman serving as a bridesmaid for years but never a bride, Akerman will portray her sister who is engaged to the man whom Heighl's character falls for. Meanwhile, Marsden is said to become a man who will change her bridesmaid status for good.

Allison Janney is joining John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, Michelle Pfeiffer, James Marsden, Zac Efron and Nikki Blonsky to star in the big screen version of the musical "Hairspray".
Per Variey, the actress has been slated to play Prudy Pingleton, the overbearing mother of Penny (Bynes) who believes that dancing and having fun is sinful.

As of the story, "Enchanted" centers on a princess-in-waiting who is banished by an evil queen from the animation world of Andalasia to present-day New York City. Once there, pic turns to live action, and Adams' character attempts to navigate the city, finding true love in the process.
