Next 'Batman' Film to Shoot in 2010
July 25, 2009 09:07:43An interesting tidbit regarding the next "Batman" movie has been brought up by actor Gary Oldman when he was attending San Diego Comic Con 2009. During the panel for "The Book of Eli" on Friday, July 24, the actor portraying Commissioner Gordon in both "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" broke the news that the new film is set to start filming in 2010.
Asked about the plans for the third movie in the Christopher Nolan-directed series, the 51-year-old BAFTA recipient gushed as quoted by Reuters, "We start filming the next 'Batman' next year, which means it won't come out for another two years." After uttering the statement, he then quickly added, "But you didn't hear it from me!" No other details for "Batman 3" were shared by Oldman.

Nominated for an astounding 21 nominations, the sequel to "Batman Begins" has collected an amazing twelve kudos from the award event that honors the best in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror.
At the live taping of the show which took place at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, "Dark Knight" has been hailed to be The Ultimate Scream Movie, Best Sequel and Best Comic Book Movie. It also obtained recognition for its F/X garnering a Best F/X prize. Though losing the Most Memorable Mutilation to "Teeth", the superhero movie won also The Holy Shit! Scene of the Year and Best Line prizes.
Producers Confirmed Oldman in the Next Potter Film

Explaining on that matter producer David Heyman said "We're not shooting his part for quite a while, and as is always the case, you begin with the parts that are most pressing. We have every intention of having Gary Oldman play Sirius Black."
