A Slew of 'The Spirit' Fresh Pics Come Out
September 18, 2008 03:09:51A fresh supply of "The Spirit" images has been unraveled by Slash Film. Sent by the site's reader by the name of Christopher M, most of the pictures are a close-up look into individual character from The Spirit himself to Commissioner Dolan and female rookie cop Morgenstern. The collection of photos also let out for the first time a shot of what seems to be Plaster of Paris.
Apart from those characters, the pics also exhibit Octopus, Sand Saref and Dr. Ellen Dolan. Moreover, some of the pictures look like to be a cut from the film's scene, like the one in which Ellen and Spirit are buttoning up their clothes when the commissioner walks into the examination room, and the other one where Spirit is tied up in a chair while the scantily clad Paris is swinging her blade toward him with full force.

Jacinda Barrett is now a mother. The Australian actress gave birth to a baby girl, Satine Anais Geraldine Macht, Monday August 20th in Los Angeles.
"Mum and Satine are happy and healthy," her publicist tells People. No other details on the baby girl being released though.
Lionsgate Taps Gabriel Macht to Be The Spirit Lead
August 03, 2007 04:08:04
Finally the search for male lead in "The Spirit" is concluded now that Lionsgate Films and director Frank Miller have found the appropriate one to assume the role, who turns out to be Gabriel Macht, fresh from Michael Lehmann-directed "Because I Said So."
Macht will then assume the role of the titular character, described as a man who has faked his own death so he can battle crime from the shadows of Central City. The Bronx-born actor landed the part after making his way to impress the filmmakers in the audition for the flick, which Miller insisted to carry out in looking for actor to play the role.
Trio Blinded By "Whiteout"
March 15, 2007 03:03:53
Landing their feet together in the same vehicle, Gabriel Macht, Tom Skerritt, and Columbus Short have all reached deals to join Kate Beckinsale in the cast of action thriller "Whiteout", the first big screen production of Joel Silver's Dark Castle Entertainment.
Based on Greg Rucka's comic book miniseries, the picture focuses on a lone U.S. marshal assigned to Antarctica named Carrie Stetko who must solve a murder mystery before the sun set for six month there. While Skeritt and Short's roles are still unclear, it is revealed that Macht will play a U.N. operative who is also investigating the case.
