Ladies Extravaganza at 'The Women' Hollywood Premiere
September 05, 2008 03:09:26Picturehouse Entertainment have thrown a premiere for their latest comedy movie, "The Women", at Mann Village Theater, Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 4. Like the movie which is flooded with amazing all-girl cast ensemble, the special event was dominated with women from director/writer Diane English to "American Pie" actress Tara Reid.
The red carpet event was attended by most of A-listers who star in the remake film, including Meg Ryan, Debra Messing, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Annette Bening, Candice Bergen, Cloris Leachman and Debi Mazar. Aside from those actresses, "All About Eve" actress Celeste Holm and "Ugly Betty" villain Vanessa Williams were also seen strolling down the red carpet.
'The Starter Wife' Star to Play in 'Humboldt Park'
February 05, 2008 02:02:51The star of television series "The Starter Wife" Debra Messing has joined Alfredo De Villa's drama comedy project "Humboldt Park". According to Variety, the 39-year-old Emmy- and SAG-winning actress has been signed to star as the wife of John Leguizamo's character.
She will also play alongside Freddy Rodriguez, Alfred Molina, Jay Hernandez, Mercedes Ruehl, Luis Guzman, Melonie Diaz and Vanessa Ferlito in the film that centers around the returning of three siblings to their parents' home for the holidays in Humboldt Park on Chicago's northwest side. The film itself is scheduled to start filming next week in Chicago.
