Chamillionaire's 'Good Morning' Video Teased Through Set Photos
October 28, 2009 03:10:41Chamillionaire has started shooting a music video for his new single titled "Good Morning". A sneak peek to the video has been released in the form of on-set pictures which show the rapper dressing in various outfits, from a casual white T-shirt to a formal suit.
"Good Morning" is the lead single from Chamillionaire's forthcoming third studio album "Venom" which stands for Visually Entertaining Negatives of Money. The video for the track is directed by Don Tyler and hasn't had any premiere date.
Chamillionaire's New Album Shelved Back
June 05, 2009 02:06:59Chamillionaire reaches out to his MySpace, stating that his new album "Venom" will not be released after all. "Fact. Venom isn't gonna drop. Its not coming out," the rapper confirms the matter.
In order to avoid any rumor that the album is shelved because he has been dropped from his label, Chamillionaire says, "I'm not dropped." He then adds, "Not depressed. Im not sad. Just telling you what Im thinking and what Im gonna do."
Thousands of Families and Friends Attended Pimp C's Funeral
December 14, 2007 10:12:39Bun B, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Trae and Willie D of the Geto Boys were among thousands of families and friends saying farewell to Pimp C in a funeral held Thursday, December 13 at the Robert A. Bowers Civic Center in the rapper's southeast Texas hometown of Port Arthur.
As the funeral service was about to begin, instrumentals of the music that made Pimp C famous were played over the sound system and when the music stopped playing the Rev. John R. Adolph began a prayer. The religious ceremony also included the reading of a resolution by the mayor of Port Arthur and remembrances by Jeff Sledge of Jive Records and Pimp C's mother, Weslyn Monroe who said her only son was in heaven.

Two change of date after, Chamillionaire plans to drop "Ultimate Victory" further back on September 18. The reason to these often delays is explained by the rapper as an attempt to put the best for the record.
"I've been hard at work, putting the final touches on 'Ultimate Victory' while my fans have remained patient and overwhelmingly supportive of me," Chamillionaire said in a statement. "Now that the new album is finally complete and the first official single is ready for release, I'm back on my mixtape grind."

Gaining reputation through duet with Shakira in "Hips Don't Lie" and penning T.I.'s new single, Wyclef Jean is back concentrating on his solo career. A seventh album titled "The Carnival 2: Memoirs of an Immigrant" will be out after three long hiatus.
The album that is due September will see him working with Paul Simon, Mary J. Blige, Chamillionaire and Akon among some. The ex- member of The Fugees also got the partnership of The Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger out of coincidence. He said he was working on a new sound when "Nicole happens to be there. Like, ain't nothing rehearsed because we went in on a vibe." Nicole will be featured in his first single with the help from Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am.

This year MTV Video Music Awards, held August 31st at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, saw the triumph of James Blunt as the singer nabbed the Best Male Video award for his single "You're Beautiful". In pair with him to take home the Best Female Video award was former "American Idol" Kelly Clarkson, thanks to her single "Because Of You".
Also scored an award at the 23rd annual award event was The All-American Rejects who won the Best Group Video category for "Move Along", and Chamillionaire's "Ridin'" which was chosen as the Best Rap Video. In addition to all, music act The Pussycat Dolls won the Best Dance Video award for their hit single "Buttons", while AFI's "Miss Murder" nabbed the Best Rock Video award.

MTV announced its nominees for the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday July 31st and there it goes Latin singer Shakira and the Red Hot Chili Peppers leading the list with seven nominations each. The rock band and the pop superstar will compete for Video of the Year award for the videos "Dani California" and "Hips Don't Lie".
As of Shakira, she also is up for Best Female Video award still for the same single competing that of Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man", Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You", Madonna's "Hung Up", and Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous". Elsewhere, Red Hot Chili Peppers also vies for Best Group Video along with The All-American Rejects' "Move Along", Fall Out Boy's "Dance, Dance", Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy", and Panic! at the Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies".

Back then to the Hot 100, Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" secures the 2nd place, just one place ahead of Cassie's "Me & U" which moves up one place from last week position to No. 3. Taylor Hicks is rocketing even higher and higher in the industry, keeps reaping wining after winning from the day he was crowned season five "American Idol" champion. Has just signed his first ever recording contract, he shortly thereafter released his first single, "Do I Make You Proud", on June 13.
As many have predicted, the silver-haired Alabama native's set satisfyingly comes in at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the Billboard Single Sales chart and the Billboard Pop 100 chart, making it the best selling song in the country with over 190,000 copies sold in its first week of release. What's more Hicks will perform this chart topping song on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday, June 22nd.

The music group's "Hypnotize" sold 324,000 copies in its first week of release, placing them exactly on the top position. Just behind them at No. 2 on the chart is Kenny Chesney, whose "The Road and the Radio" sold another 300,000 units this week.
"Now That's What I Call Music! 20" by various artists secures the 3rd place on sales of 290,000 units, followed by Madonna's "Confessions on a Dancefloor" at No. 4 with 210,000 units. Rounding out the Top 5 is "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" soundtrack which sold 207,000 units.
