"I have never been in love but I want to feel that. I'm ready for it," she tells Britain's The Sun newspaper. "I am looking for a boyfriend though".
Discussing her love life with the print media, Alexandra says her past romances have been a disaster. "I was 16 when I had my first relationship. It lasted about two years. Then I dated another guy for six months last year but he was a bit of a nutcase," she recounts. "I let him go just before 'X Factor' went live. He was very insecure and I have no time for that. There's been no one since."
Alexandra Burke's 'Bad Boys' Video Feat. Flo Rida Premiered
September 22, 2009 09:09:46A couple of previews and several on set pictures after, the music video of Alexandra Burke's "Bad Boys" is finally premiered. Featuring the song's guest Flo Rida, the video opens up with Burke's car breaking down and mostly sees a dancing sequence by Burke and some male dancers.
The video was shot with director Bryan Barber in Los Angeles in late August over the course of two days. Shortly after completing the filming, the winner of singing reality show "The X-Factor" took it to her Twitter to express her glee. "I'm such a big baby! Walked on set and started crying!!! Everything is so overwhelming!! I love my team," she wrote.

The artwork is not quite new as it comes from one of the promo pics released earlier last month. The photo features her donning a mini tinfoil dress.
Alexandra's new album is called "Overcome" which is coincidently the title of her fresh material which was leaked in July. The record is confirmed to be released in U.K. on October 19. Tracklisting for the effort hasn't been disclosed, but there is a chance the leaked song will be its title track.
Alexandra Burke Announces Title and Release Date for Debut Album
September 16, 2009 11:09:25During a radio interview earlier this week, Alexandra Burke revealed what she will call her debut album and when she will bring it out for purchase. The winner of "The X Factor" 2008 said "Overcome" will be the title of the record and October 19 will be its U.K. release date.
The radio interview during which Alexandra revealed the title and release date for the effort is part of her U.K. radio tour which was started on September 14 in a bid to promote her new single "Bad Boys" which features Flo Rida. She will continue visiting U.K. radio stations until September 18.

To The Sun, a source reveals the delay happens because Simon Cowell's Syco label wants to "polish her skills, like they did with Leona [Lewis]."
"Syco were planning a quick release - possibly as early as March in time for Mothers' Day. But they have reconsidered and will now go for the autumn - probably November," the source says. "They want to wait to find the right songs and let her polish her skills, like they did with Leona. She can then launch it on a live X Factor show."
