Alex Pettyfer Goes Shirtless for Magazine Photo Shoot
November 13, 2009 03:11:33Alex Pettyfer takes his upper clothes off for a pictorial to be featured in the latest issue of VMAN magazine, which will hit the newsstands next week. In the photo, which can be seen on Celebrity Mania, the actor is shown having three different tattoos; one on his right chest, one on his right arm, and the other one below his belly button.
In an accompanying interview, Alex talks about starring in upcoming drama-romance flick "Beastly", in which he is billed to star as the lead male character Kyle Kingson or the Beast. On having to don facial tattoos to get into the shoes of his character, he tells VMAN, "I'm in every scene, which meant six and a half hours in prosthetics every day."

August 13, 2009 01:08:31New stills from Daniel Barnz's "Beastly" have been revealed. These four fresh images released by CBS Films give first looks at female leading character Vanessa Hudgens' Linda Taylor as well as another take at Alex Pettyfer's Kyle Kingson. Unlike previous images which also gave out the beastly form of Kingson, the new pictures only present the leading character in his human appearance.
From all of the new images, only one picture captures the two main characters, Taylor and Kingson, together as they chat close by what seems to be a bar. Another photo features Taylor wearing a flowery scarf. Meanwhile, Kingson is displayed in the other two new images, one of which exposes him baring his chest.
Mary-Kate Olsen and Alex Pettyfer to Join Vanessa Hudgens in 'Beastly'
June 05, 2009 10:06:06Mary-Kate Olsen and Alex Pettyfer have been signed up to play in movie "Beastly". The two young actors will join a previously-announced cast Vanessa Hudgens for the modern-day take on "Beauty and the Beast".
Olsen will portray a transfer student and witch named Kendra Hilferty who curses Pettyfer's character, an arrogant man named Kyle Kingsbury who has no mercy for anyone poorer, less handsome or less popular than he is. As for Hudgens, she will play Linda Owens, the fair maiden who releases Kyle from Kendra's spell.

Known for its longtime dedication in paying respect to talented young people in television and movies while giving scholarships to financially or physically challenged young artists seeking a future in the entertainment industry, the Young Artists Foundation, for the twenty-eighth time, has delightfully unveiled the nominees for its Young Artist Awards.
In leading acting categories for film feature, names like Cameron Bright and Alex Neuberger, both of "Running Scared", and Thomas Sangster of "Nanny McPhee" are all mentioned as the best young actor contenders while Dakota Fanning of "Charlotte's Web", Keke Palmer of "Akeelah and the Bee", and Sara Paxton of "Aquamarine" will compete against each other in opposite category.
