**Yosemite** (2015) is an upcoming American drama film directed by James Franco and starring Ed Harris, Anne Heche, Dakota Fanning, and Zoey Deutch. The film is an adaptation of William Kittredge's novel of the same name, which tells the story of a young man who comes to Yosemite National Park in search of adventure but finds himself confronted by the harsh realities of life in the wilderness. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2015 and was released in theaters on October 23, 2015.
